Bama vs TN in the Final Four?

UT’s bracket has gotten easier as well. No Purdue, Duke, UK or Marquette now. Bama plays SDSU and the winner of Princeton and likely Creighton. It’s shaping up well for both teams.

It shaped up well for Tennessee in 2018, then Loyola-Chicago happened. FAU is no joke and the winner of Mich St-KST would be tough in the elite 8.

I dunno, man. Mich State and K State both impressed me tremendously today. Tenn likely beats FAU but the Elite 8 matchup looks like a sticky wicket

Why does no one think Arkansas will go Final Four? It's certainly possible, and the Hogs already eliminated the pride and joy of the West Region, and defending natl champs

I like UCONN in the West barcket. They have the most complete team left in the bracket. I also think San Diego St beats Bama. They are a very good basketball team. Especially defensively. They will make this a very ugly game on both ends. Dont sleep on Fla Atlantic against Tenner either. They are a very good basketball team. The SEC teams will all have tough matchups.

You could be right about the SEC powers. Although Bama will be favored in the south, San Diego State has mostly looked solid and plays stingy defense. Tenn should get past FAU, but I think they go down bigly in the elite 8.
Arkansas proved already they can mix it up with the best teams. What is it about UCONN that makes you believe they take out Arky, then win a likely West final v UCLA?

I have that in my bracket. But, no biggie, I expect Bama to beat Tennessee this time around.

UCONN hasn't been consistent but they've looked like the best team in the country against numerous good teams this season.
They're one of only 3 teams that truly have the complete package: Scoring and rim protecting big man, guard experience, go-to late shot-clock creator, numerous 3 point shooters, long defenders.
They've also lost some games to good teams like Arkansas and UCLA in games where they make a lot of careless turnovers so they may not get by both of them but people are high on them simply because their "A Game" beats anyone's other probably Bama's.

If they're allowed to keep playing like it's football, Tennessee has a chance. If they call it like basketball is supposed to be played, Tennessee is screwed.
