We did a pretty good job of keeping him in check.

See Nieko Thorpe.

We should have kept Ingram out for the whole game since it seemed all your coaches told the defense to do was key on him. They would have been confused to not see him in there.

We would've just done the same thing with the running back that was in.

Damn, it would be the day after this before I would even think about becoming an Aubie.

Yes you guys did a very good job at keeping our offense in check all night. I will give your defense credit for that. It's really a shame that they couldn't do it when it mattered.

Saban was just setting you up the whole game to unleash the beast that was #5. I doubt Chizik even knew he was on our team.

before bama kicked off against clemson if i posted that this will start a regular season winning streak from aug 2008- TBD 2010....i would be called an idiot.

That being said Auburn maybe a team on the brink. It is very unlikely Alabama is undefeated going into the game and very easily could have already lost the west by the Iron Bowl. That could effect the team especially if the west is on the line in Death Valley and we lose. The team morale could be down if LSU wins the west on that day. If Auburn comes in and beats us then yall will have embarrassed us, so certaintly nothing will be used as an excuse.

Thankfully I don't know of an Alabama equivalent to ITAT

wut? Just replace auburn.scout.com with alabama in your address. Both boards fricking suck and are as ridiculous as they come.

We're already losing a weekend by going to Duke, now we lose another one because Saban is scared of Auburn. Bull crap.

If I were a Bama fan I would Kige this as well. Its Ga St, the game will be over 10 mins after kickoff. Ingram and the other stars will be watching the game from his house.

I agree - it will be Eddie Lacy's turn to shine in this game.

What are the gumps so worried about?

Coming from a team that plays 11 straight games so they can have a bye against Bama. Irony at its finest.

I seriously doubt that's the reason, but nice try. I'd much rather have a bye week during the middle of the season.

So you believe that it is nothing more than coincidence that Auburn's bye week comes right before the Iron Bowl?

Don't you think those are the most vital positions for experience?

Yes but with Saban coaching, I'm not worried. His specialty is the secondary so I think we'll be fine.

Their will definitely be growing pains but we have a few games for them to get their feet wet before SEC play.

BTW, I think our biggest concern is ST. It's going to be hard replacing Tiffin and Fitzgerald. Not to mention a brand new long snapper. I think we'll be just fine on D after a few games but we need help on ST IMO.

Dude, Alabama might as well have a bye week, it's fricking Georgia State. It's the first year they've ever had a football team. Vandy could beat them 56-0 with their practice squad. Y'all didn't have to re-schedule that game, and why would you even want to? My only guess is that Saban is scared to play Auburn this year. Otherwise, he wouldn't have wanted the change. But according to some Bammers on here, Bama shouldn't be scared of Auburn because y'all "will blow us outta the water." So who's wrong, y'all Bammers or Nick Saban? It's not that big of a deal honestly. Jesus, we have a bye week before Bama. Who gives a frick. It's our only bye week all year.

We all know this and I agree. However, they are on the schedule for Bill Curry to give him some extra money to get his new program up and running. I'd like to see us play another team but the AD makes those calls and Bill Curry requested the game cuz he knew Bama would be able to pay alot for them to come get their butts whipped.
