Grant just blew that game. We shot more accurate than we have all year, played good D against a hot shooting team, and still couldn't score 60. We shot outside when the inside was open, shot inside when they were doubling Green, and then botched several gifts at the end like not rebounding off a free throw (players fault) and calling a time out with 2 seconds left only to call a play that takes longer than 2 seconds to execute. Grant was not ready for elimination play. He scared.

He didn't get a millimeter of ball and the shot feel about 8 feet short, so you can draw your own conclusions.

WTF was Anthony Grant doing calling a timeout after in-bounding the ball? If he wanted to set something up, he should have called the timeout before in-bounding the ball. It took valuable time off the clock and prevented Bama from getting a good shot.

That sucks, but I wasn't expecting a deep run anyway. I'm just glad the team keeps improving. I see a better run on the tourney next year.

Agree. It is one thing to play with 8 seconds but after the foul and sideout you need to call timeout and set up a play. Pass the ball in to JaMychal and go to the rim. Make them foul you.
Bama played with great effort but collapsed offensively down the stretch. We got a steal and walked the ball up the court. That is not Bama basketball.

He did not foul him it was bad mechanics he didn't snap the shot
