Doing ok. Would be a helluva lot better if the UA BoT would leave UAB athletics alone.

And Watson Brown, literally the worst coach in Division 1 football history, is 1-0 vs. Nick Saban. In The Swamp.

When did Saban coach at Florida?

The best thing that could ever happen to UAB athletics is for them to drop football and focus solely on being a great basketball school. They have the facilities, fan support, and tradition to be a great basketball program.

What conference would they play in? C-USA wouldn't keep them and none of the upper tier mid major basketball conferences are expanding into Alabama (travel costs).

I agree 100% and will not argue at all. I will not even say whether I think it is a good or bad decision. I just hate the stupid arse mouthbreathers here trying to argue UA isn't intentionally fricking UAB and hasn't been for a decade. It is extremely dishonest and it pisses me off. Bunch of fricktarded gumps lying over and over because they THINK they are towing the company line. fricking pitiful. Enough is enough and I'm about done with the mouthbreathers.

That has always been the problem with you stinking auNecks, you think Alabama is your business.

Mind your own business down in Opelika, like trying to prevent your type from putting the fractured leg of teen-aged boys on the front page of their ignorant little papers.

Find your sick enjoyment in other ways than ridiculing and shaming a kid that is trying to learn how to walk again.

and if you will look into your revenue stream you will see 5.5million from the school

Just stop. Your own link stated that football BY ITSELF returned $4.4 million. I doubt the other programs are in the black, but football had a surplus of $16 million. You have posted it three or four times. We get it. You can't read your own link.

That is good news. UAB has done tons for the city. It would be great if Birmingham were to invest back into the University. UAB should easily have the land to provide.

Who the hell wants UAB to have a football team anyway? Outside of the current players and coaches nobody. The students at UAB don't even give a rat's arse about UAB sports.

This pretty much sums up the state of UAB's AD

Actually it is the Gump bullshite and lying about anything and everything that people detest and has therefore resulted in a 20 page thread.

Some of you decent jackwagons should have already called bullshite on towing the company line. Bama fans don't have the balls apparently. Bunch of damn cowards/sheep.

Do you consider yourself a "decent jackwagon"? I have never seen you make a single comment about Alabama that was in the least objective, much less positive. I can only say that about you and the execrable Metrytiger, an LSU fan. What is it with you, and why do you care so much?

This UAB thing has annoyed me for years. It is sorta like how I used to rail about over signing until you guys could not deny it anymore. For a solid yearhumps here told me Bama did not oversign players and all attrition was natural. Finally gumps just accepted it so I moved on.

What I get pissed about on this topic is gumps continuing to deny the Bama BOT does not want UAB to be successful in football in the face of overwhelming evidence for a decade. It is flat out lying or at an absolute minimum forced painful intentional ignorance. Especially after it has been so well documented for years.

Pisses me off when people are so intentionally dishonest and disingenuous. That is how gumps were about over signing for a long time and that is how many jackasses have been in this thread about UAB football and it's relationship with UA

Assholes would quit lying I would move on.

Quit making excuses. Youre the typical ITAT barner and will argue about anything negative towards Alabama.

Sure, whatever. You keep thinking I'm the problem with halfwit gumps lying and trying to defend an indefensible position.

Add another Gump coward to the long list that just wants to deny deflect and lie instead of admitting the obvious. Just makes you look ignorant, but keep saying the Bama BOT isn't acting against the best interests of UAB football.
