so, you are saying that both fan bases have out of control fans who actually have people check out vin numbers, stalk recruits & their families, encourage their "members" to manufacture stories and post it in the internet?

I am saying that both fanbases have out of control fans that want nothing more than to see their enemy taken down and will do what it takes to see that happen.

i absolutely agree with that and will say that any alabama or auburn fan who truely sees a fan of the other team as an "enemy" needs a reality check.

Just was meaning, this thread reminded me of one by CPA once, where he ridiculed a situation, only to have the photo of the person he was ridiculing end up in an AU shirt.

If players were being paid, then of course Eddie Williams would have been one of them. He was their best player. However, I think its a non-issue because its not like they were paid extreme amounts of money. Some of those kids are dirt poor and need money to eat.

I don't know of any current stories involving Auburn players like the one involving Eddie Williams' school.

One Alabama school thinking the other will get in trouble from the SEC or NCAA is laughable. If anything they will punish State or Ole Miss for this.
