That's cause we're not aggressive. Teams who win the National Championship are often THE most penalized.

THAT, I agree with.

you are missing the point dude. that game was a rare example of less than perfection by the bama team and some of their coaching staff. saban was, once again, perfect. didn't you see his fire and enthusiasm on the sideline? their performance was, obvioulsly, the fault of their fans.

a team that has won 19 straight regular season games & is playing as good as anyone in the country is poorly coached?

i agree with this statement and i just can't figure out why some guys feel this way. it's like they dislike miles so much, they want him to lose so we can fire him and hire the media darling coach de jour. to some, it may be they loved saban so much, noone will fill his shoes (they obviously harbor the thought that he'll come back and coach here if miles were to be fired). to others, who knows? his speech patterns, his reluctence to share secret info about the team, his kicking periloux off the team...who knows. if this crap grows too loud, one day, coach miles will get fed up and go elsewhere. maybe they'll "like" the new coach better, but he won't be more successful than miles. his record speaks for itself. one friggin' 8-5 year and he's awful! saban had an 8-5 year, only won 50% of his bowl games and seemed to lose one or two games he shouldn't have every year. but saban walks on water now that he's at bama and that has somehow turned some against coach miles (my speculation).

A team is bound to throw in a stinker once or twice a season. But how do you stink on offense for 6 straight games? Our highest scoring game was against Washington, but two TD's weren't scored by our offense.

some people are missing the point here, and it's those people who constantly bash miles and our QB.

We won a fricking Championship and people say we were poorly coached.

I agree on offense and special teams. Saban has gotten a little better every year but we all have room for improvement.

The defense on the other hand gets better every week and is not getting many stupid penalties. Looking down the road they my not give up a TD the rest of the reg season.

I love all of you fans that talk shite about Saban when in reality all of you would be licking his balls if he came back if Miles got canned. I know I would rather have Saban. Im not afraid to admit it either. He is not a perfect coach (no one is), but he has a brain.

Want to bet???

Look, Nick is a fine coach and you have a very good D team with a good running attack, but you haven't played the most difficult schedule around. In fact, the last time I checked your sos was around 50, so I would wait a tad before claiming your D will not be scored on the rest of the season. You might be right, but if FIU and No Tex can score on you there is hope for others that they might as well.

The "balls" licking is a personal choice type thing and I prefer not to, but you may do whatever floats your boat.

As to Nick, he's a fine coach and I was sorry to see him go, but he made his choice to try pro ball and he's history in my book. You can rather have him all you want, but I see nothing to bit@h bout with 47-12, 4 bowl wins in a row, and a national title. Let me know when Nick does that at Bama and we can talk again.

Well, one thing's for sure, McElroy's regressing. According to the theory proposed on this board, he should consistently be throwing for 280 yards and 3 TDs per game.

Whats wrong with this statement!? Hint dukke v, one team has a really good turnover ratio - which makes your statement false!

Not to mention they have the best defense in the country, which is coached by their head coach. Its not just a great defense, they're lights out and can win games by scoring for the offense...

In comparison, Miles so called "specialty" in coaching is the worst part of our team right now, alongside QB.

Lets not forget, no team has really been in the game against Bama due to their defense. Nor have they played many if any "close" games. Yea, poorly coached with a excellent rush game too...

So they sucked two games in passing the ball, awesome. Whatever makes you sleep at night knowing LSU is horribly coached I guess.
