You don’t have to insure it for the total value they evaluate it at. You can insure it for what it’s really worth and what is an acceptable risk for you.

I used to have a truck but only because I had BIG BOAT that I needed to tow. Boats gone and so is that ugly arse fricking truck. I also had a car for daily commuting and never drove that truck otherwise.
