10-2 to 12-0 Next year, imo. Defense will still be a top ten defense. If Saban could do it last year, with more losses in the defense, he can do it this year with not as many lost on defense. Returning 4 offensive linemen, qb and talented bunch of receivers. Lacy isn't Trent, but he's dang good in his own right and Yeldon, Hart in the backfield also... the offense could be better than this years, and it was pretty good.

10-2 with a chance at 11-1(yet no NC).

I don't like the comparison to 2010...

luckily we had a comfortable lead in many of our games this year & the younger guys got a chance to play & gain some experience. I'm not predicting another NC but I don't expect them to drop off too much.

We had to completely reload in the secondary in 2010. If Lester comes back it won't be quite as bad. In 2010 we had two new starting corners and a new starting nickel (and we play three corners so much that the third guy is pretty much a starter), whereas at least we'll have Milliner coming back next year. If we lose Lester we could be very young at safety (Clinton-Dix and Sunseri?)

Not even remotely worried about the inside linebackers. Nico and CJ would probably be the best group in the league again. Depriest is there too. Replacing Upshaw will be more of an issue.

The defensive line should be fine as long as we find a nose guard. Williams (could play nose I guess) and Square should be back and we have depth. Dial should be an important player.

Offense should be stacked. The Defense will be more mistake prone (hopefully not as bad as 2010 although statistically we were still the best defense in the conference) and we have to go to Arkansas and LSU.

A lot of it falls on what mettenberger does.

Personally, I expect him to be very good. It'll be scary and Gunner Kiel ends up being as good as advertised. 2 good QBs for LSU, back to back? Talk about scary. They've been a beastly team with two good-for-nothing shitheads at QB.

I think (hesitantly) that we will be a bit more wide open on offense next year. Obviously we will still focus on a power run game, but I think McCarron earned enough of Saban's trust last night that he will get to be more than a game manager.

Well he can't be any worse than Jefferswag.

Plus all positions except CB will be stronger next year.

Sorry, but no way do you guys repeat. There's ALOT of talent at Bama but time and time again Saban proves that he thrives off of experience. You lose 8 off of your defense and lose your only offensive weapon in TR. 10-3 next year Bammers, dont become spoiled, better enjoy it while you can. (Coming from a Gator.)

I see you guys losing to Arkansas and LSU. And possibly one more early.

didnt say anything about repeating.

However, I did say 11 wins this year reg season and close to 3000 rushing and 35 rushing td's. Bama finished at just under 2800 rushing and 34 rushing td's.

I pay attention and feel I can be objective in what personnel we've got returning and have in experience. Been watching fb as long as many on here have been alive.

You dont have an OC yet so lets hold up on the 11 win season for now. Expect those Gators to contend in 2013-2014, Congrats Bammers

You're mixing up what I said. I said 11 this season. Next season, I said from 10-2 to 12-0.

The problem with Bama fans is that they think you can just trade out players.

I was one of the few who thought we would struggle at times in 2010 and in no way thought we would be competing for a national championship.

You just don't lose players like we are losing and expect to pick up where you left off. There are a ton of intangibles that go into being that good, not too mention luck.

If we get to 10 wins next year, it'll be his best coaching job at Bama to date.

They have the kind of offensive speed to get on the edge, so we'll see. DeNard is much better than Jefferson, and we saw how improved Michigan's defense was this season. Then again, they didn't play anyone of upper SEC caliber.

I figured 10 wins in 2010. I was off one game. In fact, most here figured around 10 wins that year.
