Put Notre Dame or Texas on the schedule. Bama needs to start evening up their lifetime head to heads against those teams. I wouldn't putting USC or Oklahoma on the schedule either.

The schedule sucks, that's for sure. Even if we wanted to schedule another team from a BCS conference, I'm not sure we could at this point. It would be tough to find (1) another team whose off weeks matched up with ours and (2) who wanted to play us
Plus, most decent programs are going to want a home and home and we probably will not want to commit to another game in '14 since we already have West Virginia on the schedule. Maybe we could schedule the 2nd game in the home and home for '15?
But I agree with the OP. If ever there is a year to schedule 2 good OOC games, it is next year. Wisconsin was looking for a home and home with us. I'd be down for playing them in '13 and '15

No, it is UGA which somehow continues to Dodge Bama.

That's might be so, but people on these boards act like Bama can just call up any BCS school they want and schedule a game. The other team has to want to play and it has to work with both teams schedules, which outside of early in the year is near impossible to work out unless you schedule a home and home years in advance. Very few big name schools want to play Bama or any other top SEC team in the middle or late in year.
I would love for it to happen, but it is UT's, Arkansas's and Auburn's job to make those games competitive again. Bama is holding up their end of the deal. South Carolina has historically sucked arse, but now they are the cream of the crop in the SEC? Once SS leaves they will suck again like they always have. UGA hasn't beat a top 10 ranked team at home since 1976. UF is better this year, but I don't see the juggernaut SS and Myer built coming back anytime soon. LSU fans just like to bitch that everything that happens in life is against them and for Bama.

That’s cute
We play at Georgia, vs Florida..not including our regular matchups againsyt Bama, State, and A&M
Tennessee is a laugher at best. Your schedule is weak, brah

We played FL and SC in 2010.
We haven't played GA since 2008. They have gotten pulled off our schedule 2 years in a row. I would say they are happier about that than we are.

Bama turned down a future home and home against Wisconsin earlier this year. I'm personally getting tired of seeing Bama playing these soft schedules every year. Last season, LSU had Oregon and West Virginia on their non-conference schedule in addition to the SEC schedule and they were able to handle the load just fine. It probably actually helped them in the first game against Alabama because their team was prepared to handle tough competition and high pressure games while Bama was not.

Put your vag back in your skirt, Nancy.
That was in response to a USCe poster about their 2012 schedule.

Georgia's going to blow next year anyway. They probably blow this year, we've only had one chance to see them play a decent team and they got destroyed.

And Wisconsin turned down a neutral site game against Bama, so don't act like Bama is the only reason it didn't work out.

Since Saban arrived, in the non-conference we've played:
2007 - Florida St (neutral site, Jacksonville)
2008 - Clemson (Atlanta)
2009 - Virginia Tech (Atlanta)
2010 - Penn St (home)
2011 - Penn St (away)
2012 - Michigan (Dallas)
And I can add 2013 Virginia Tech and 2014 West Virginia, both in Atlanta.

I'd be ok with bama's schedule if they would just get a better East opponent.

LSU played West Va and Oregon in same year, one on the road and one at a neutral site
that can justify Towson

Well heck.. Bama played Notre Dame and USC in one yr way back when.
No doubt it appears weak, but won't really be able to say until the season gets under way. Much like this yr, when Michigan really looked like a good matchup when made. Things change over the course of the season and new coaches could make big differences at some schools. Folks need to get over the hyperbole on both sides.

I dont give a flying frick if our schedule looks like that. Not our fault all of these teams that our usually good suck arse. Not our fault. I say the easier the better, the only thing that sucks is having to hear other teams fans bitch and whine about it. But they bitch and whine about most things pertaining to us anyway, so i guess it doesnt really matter.
