He looked pretty rough the other day. I wouldn't be suprised to see him hang it up during the season.

i said this back in January and got burned pretty good. What I learned was that Saban enjoys the south (didnt know that), plans to retire in GA (didnt know that), and Alabama can match any amount of money Penn St. can, learned that after they won it all. Learning those three things led me to believe that the chance of Saban leaving Bama for another college team are slim. Something serious would have to go wrong first

Not a bit. It wouldn't make any kind of sense.

1. Money wouldn't be a factor - Bama could match.

2. Historically and currently speaking - Bama is a better program.

3. He's already built a legacy that will last here. He's got a statue of himself on the way.

4. He's coaching in the best conference, with access to the best athletes in the country.

5. His vacation home and future place of retirement is just a drive away.

We should be concerned about our own head coach rather than Bamas.

Actually, Saban might be interested in the challenge of winning a 3rd BCS title at a 3rd school.

What does that even mean? They have more alumni? Who cares? If our athletic department is willing to pay him whatever he wants, the size of the fan base is irrelevant. Nationally speaking, the "Alabama Crimson Tide" carries more clout than "Penn State Nittany Lions".

They will build him a bigger statue and can fit more seats in the stands than BDS can hold. Also they have more white in their white-out games than Bama does!

Every coach that has won a championship in football has a statue of themselves outside the stadium. Doesn't make a difference when it gets put up.

I'm pretty sure that it's fairly common knowledge that the state of Georgia borders Alabama?

Doubtful he goes there, his "dream" job would be UGA due to the fact he could live at his vacation home and drive to work. I think Saban has 3-5 more years in him, I could be wrong, but barring a major melt down with the program there he'll be there until he retires.

Yes it does. Using a what if..how do you know that Alabama wont go on major sanctions or the the death penalty? You're going to have a statue of a coach who destroyed your Football program in the long term because he had a title?
