This is why you play the games. If we are just putting the four best teams in, let’s just cancel the season before it starts and put in who we think is the best four. Everyone thought Oregon would house Washington and look what happened when they played again. Shits a joke

Come on? I am no Bama fan at all, but I am damn near 60 years old. I have been watching the Iron bowl 2 times more than many on this board have been alive. When Bama goes to JH, it is always a slugfest. Even elite Bama teams with double digit NFL draft picks have lost in JH.
It is 2 in-state SEC teams and rival game in truest sense of the word.

Well if Bama loses the Auburn game and wins the SEC title and is 11-2 they are not getting in. The Out for the CFP is no 2 loss team has ever made it. But 1 loss 12-1 SEC champ vs 13-0 ACC champ without QB (which if you read the CFP's protocol, is part of the metrics, that is availability of key player(s) for a 2 game playoff run).
That was the metric to use to kick FSU out.

I could totally see a FSU team with a backup beating Bama if Milroe played bad like he has for a lot of the year. If Bama got left out undefeated because Milroe was hurt, no telling what you’d do to your sister after sleeping with her
