Young is good no doubt, but he is surrounded by 5 and 6 stars..Corral would have better stats than Young on that team..OM would not be 10-2 with Young starting

How is this Alabama’s least talented teams when they have a 4000+ yd 40+td QB, 1000+ yd 10+td RB, 2 1000+ WRs. Seems like they were exceptionally talented.

Actually …..

The Heisman Memorial Trophy (usually known colloquially as the Heisman Trophy or The Heisman) is awarded annually to the most outstanding player in college football. Winners epitomize great ability combined with diligence, perseverance, and hard work.

You know, I have to admit that this year I’ve felt like our team is underwhelming compared especially offense to offense vs our teams of the last few years. And even though it REALLY feels that way to me, what you say is also true as the stats don’t lie.

Same goes for Bryce. For whatever reason to me I feel like Jalen, Tua, even Mac were better passers than Bryce in certain aspects…yet, again, stats and the Heisman don’t lie.

So I wonder why it is that I’ve come away with that impression about our offense this year. It’s so weird. Don’t get me started on the defense…

You place a weird emphasis in your statement...

That implies you feel Jalen was a better passer than Mac.

No such emphasis intended. My bad. I see how it comes across that way though. I guess I should’ve worded it differently.

I feel like Mac was the better passer but Jalen’s mobility makes him the better potential playmaker if that makes sense. And I was thinking in terms of overall play-making ability. As a pure passer Mac is superior to Tua and Jalen IMHO but with their mobility Jalen and Tua were hands-down bigger threats as playmakers.

tl;dr I’m retarded when it’s this early.

A lot of people still do not understand the Heisman trophy. The trophy is SUPPOSED to be given to the player that means so much to his team that it elevates his team to far more success. Corral would have an argument there. Young has certainly done a great job , no denying that. But the spirit of the heisman has been lost for years now and voters are influenced by every thing EXCEPT it's intended purpose.
