What got Jalen better was his qb coach with the Eagles. Not Lincoln. Jalen is not anywhere close to the qb he was in college. His mechanics, footwork, keeping eyes downfield all changed in Philly. The Eagles coach, to his credit saw something in Jalen that Nick and Lincoln did not and took advantage.

He took the time as a pro to finish the degree requirements for a Masters at OU. He came back and went through graduation this spring at OU.

That doesn't change what he did at Alabama, or that he claims Alabama himself. I honestly don't give a shite if Oklahoma claims him too, but there's ZERO reason Alabama shouldn't.

Every time it gets brought up you rant for multiple paragraphs and don't really say anything more than 'he was better than you remember'. Maybe so, and I didn't even say he was bad as a college QB at Bama. But without showing some more passing chops at OU he isn't going where he got drafted, and probably isn't the player he is today. Its just a fact, like it or not IDGAF.

Wait a minute. Hurts graduated from Alabama in three years and now has a Master's from Oklahoma while Stetson Bennett never has finished his undergrad degree in flyfishing or whatever Kirby stuck him in 2017 and that clown never graduated??? How embarrassing.

bullshite. Jalen got on at Oklahoma because of the experience and exposure he was given at Alabama. That is a fact. If Jalen had been benched at just about any other school, & had his job taken by just about any other quarterback not named Tua, OU wouldn’t have sniffed him.
ETA: And again I’ll emphasize, Jalen was a 2 year starter, won multiple championships, and has a 4 year degree from Alabama.
We’ll claim him if we damn well please.

I don’t really care who claims the guy, to be honest. I appreciate everything he did at Alabama and believe he is a great young man. I’m happy to see him having success as a pro. He hasn’t shunned Alabama by any means, and I think he considers himself to be a part of both the Oklahoma and Alabama families.
