This is the hottest of hot takes. Like, cowherd level hot take

Agreed. AJ McCarron is what Saban wants and needs. Mac Jones fits that mold.
This defense won't win games like that one did. The way they are constructed this year, they have to score in bunches to win.

I just wish there was a board to discuss other SEC teams on TD..
Oh wait.
FYI: You are completely wrong as well!

What does this shite have to do with the LSU Tigers?
Posted on 11/22/19 at 2:14 pm to Jambalaya Sauce
Pure BS. Tua made 4-5 throws in the game against us that Mac Jones would not have made. If Tua had been out, we would have won by 3 TD's easily.

They both run a 4.9 40
I ran a 4.7/40 and I wasn’t nearly the athlete those guys are.

The definition (I just made up) of a fan is someone who finds reasons (real or imagined) that suggest the unknown will work out better than the known.
Unfortunately, that's the definition of Naivity as well.
Bama may do better with him at the helm.. But if he were a better QB Saban would have been playing him over Tua.

This is laughably false.

Like everyone else with a coach hand-timing it...

I think the past 2 seasons turn out a little differently with Jones as the starter.
Right. Because you know better than the coaches were looked at these guys in practice everyday. There is a reason Saban played Tua against LSU: he gave Alabama the best chance to win. Now, assume that it is true that Tua wasn't 100% (as is true of any football player 9 games into a season, let alone one that underwent ankle surgery). Saban, the best college coach of all time, still chose Tua over Jones.

This is a decidedly stupid take
