It just says that they assisted the archdiocese with PR relations and damage control in the wake of the sex scandal as the names of all credibly-accused priests were released to the public. Is that a crime?

It's not a crime. Why does it have to be a crime?

Why would anyone want the Saints to help with that?

Seriously, why would any sane thinking human being, let alone Saints fan want their football team to help the Catholic church put a positive spin on their long running track record of covering for child rapists?

Maybe the Catholic Church deserves bad PR, for a long time.

Hit job...what a joke.

LSU would be undefeated against Tulane’s schedule.

This wouldn’t make them any better, it would just make them play in the AAC, which is a different and vastly inferior level of week to week football.

Tulane is ranked because being ranked people just refuse to accept that a team can be 9-2 and still not be as good as a 7-4 team because they get to play Charlotte and Navy and Temple and SLU.

And because rankings have been an irrelevant participation trophy for everyone outside of the top 10 for our entire lives until this year.

Tulane got absolutely worked at home by Memphis. They have three losses this year to the only three schools they have played that…play football.

The people who think Tulane would kill LSU are the same people who think Boise should get a bye in the playoff.

Just stop with Tulane.
Everybody has this boner for Tulane.

You know their biggest win is against Navy right?

They lost to both schools they played that…you know… where football is a thing?

Nussmeier would win the damn Heisman against Tulane’s schedule.

Eff Tulane.
If and when we beat Bama I will be hammered and will do whatever the moment and a gallon of bourbon suggest I should do.

That will have to be good enough for you, your quarter-zip, and your delicate sensibilities.
The AARP energy in this thread is strong.

Garth Brooks endorses Trump tomorrow and Callin’ Baton Rouge becomes half of the Rant’s favorite song.

Normal people thought the energy in the stadium last night was great and the OP has a decent point.

Beats the livin crap out of the Swamp’s Tom Petty circle jerk.

They broke up.

Right before the Kentucky game...
He was a Bama fan.

He was never going to LSU.

John Mackovic did a good job recruiting him and Texas is a good school.

Catholic did not steer guys to LSU in the mid 90’s.

Simple as that.
It’s miserable in that stadium. Nobody wants to sit in there.

The ridiculous thing is that this game would ever be a 2:30 kickoff.

you're right.

Running the I-formation will really make us tough to scheme against.
The answer is...

Because they aren't baby back bi**hes.

If you don't think you are a good enough coach to keep the ball rolling at Alabama after Nick Saban leaves, then you aren't much of a competitor.

You're right about the drawbacks, but a lot of guys want that job.
Nick would not have retired after 17 seasons at Bama at this moment to go home and chill unless they were ready to replace him…at this moment.

And the likelihood that they are going to replace him with anyone other than Dan Lanning in this scenario, at this moment, is pretty slim.

1. The majority are not in favor of Nuss transferring.

2. There is nothing right now that Nuss does that “opens up” any part of the offense more than what JD does.

3. Nuss will get his shot when he wins the starting job in the offseason.

Geez

All this hand-wringing for Matt House.

His job is to run a good defense. The defense is really bad. He didn't do his job.

He did his job so badly in fact, that it actually implicates the head coach's ability

"The defense is so bad that there is no way a good head coach watching this would let it proceed."

Brian Kelly has to get rid of House.
For the obvious reason that you don't need to have Georgia's roster to not have a defense that looks like it has never played football before.

Wow. It’s almost like it’s not that the transfers aren’t talented…

But they couldn’t be playing bad for any other reason…could they?
