Who wouldn’t have wanted Feld? He would have been a great hire. Spent time at Alabama under Cochran. From Birmingham. Made a lot of sense.

It was never confirmed Feld ever visited to interview in person. I would bet Saban spoke to him though.
The only two who were reported to have interviewed in person were Ballou and Dawson at Kansas State.
