Tell us again how Tua has never played in all 4 quarters. How you’ve scored on your first possession against everyone. How Tua had no interception.

3 sentences. 3 moral victories. Congrats, I guess.

Go back and watch the pop pass to Jeudy on the opening drive. LSU’s D was outflanked and well blocked. If Bama doesn’t have miscommunication in the backfield, that’s a TD (didn’t need it, but you get the point. Watch the play)

If Jalen was able to play, Tua may have sat the entire 4th after his long TD run.

As for his INT, great catch by the DB. NONE of you thought it would be him that got the int. You all through it would be Greedy (who got beat often), or Delpit (who got beat too). You thought Tua would get picked and it would matter. It didn’t. You punted three plays later - after almost getting scaled for a safety first.

Obviously more than I thought. Regardless he threw no touchdowns vs our first team defense

It would not have mattered FT0 (FT1). BAMA rolled in Baton Rouge 29-0. Last two in Baton Rouge 39-0. LSU has not scored at home vs Alabama since 2014. ROLL TIDE ROLL.

He threw for 300 yards and scored 3 touchdowns - including two passing TDs. He could have easily thrown for 350+ yards, had we not gone conservative in the 4th quarter.

Probably. But he doesn’t do any of that with less time. If our offense was being even remotely productive, he doesn’t have the time or possession to do that.

In the end, the better team won. That’s the only stat that matters.

Reposting this since it got stuck at the bottom of the page:

I’m not sure how this has become the narrative, other than maybe because we didn’t score 50 points and you guys need something to cling to for MUH NEXT YEAR!!1!

Our offense had more yards and more first downs than we’ve averaged for the season. Your defense gave up more than 7 yards per carry, and 4 different players averaged more than 5 YPC. We were 8 of 14 on 3rd down. All 4 of our top WR averaged more than 11 yards per catch.

Your entire team got thrashed on both sides of the football.

Nope but he did outrun them for a TD. Gimp leg and all.

But you didn’t. Like you all have said when LSU fans were talking about dropped passes by our receivers as an excuse for Burrow, “dropped passes happen”. Well, so does miscommunication.

You REALLY don't understand how football works.

There isn't a defensive player ON EARTH worth 13 points to a football game.

And the one he threw to Smith was Delpits man. He torched the the low blow guy who tried to take him out in the 1st. Matter of fact, wasn’t both of them thrown in the area of the mighty Dipshite??

This.

We were told all week that Bama would score at least 40-50pts. Not.

We were told bama would score on their first drive like they have all season. Not.

We were told Tua hadn't thrown an int all year and our DB's wouldn't get any either. Not.

We were told bama scored at least 30 pts in the 1st half of every game this year. Not.

We were told Tua hadn't played in the 4th quarter all year and wouldn't need to in this game either. Not.

We were told if he does play all four quarters bama might score 60. Not.

This is why bama fans are melting. It's amusing to say the least.

I find it difficult to contemplate how a defense could give up close to 600 yards of offense and then see a fan of said defense claim that it held up well.

Congrats on losing 29-0 instead of 50-0.

Don’t be “that guy”. The LSU defense held up very well against that vaunted Bama offense. If we had any kind of offense, Bama would not have had possession of the ball long enough to put up that kind of yardage or points.

You can call our offense garbage all day. It is. But our defense is good.

Moral victory NC contenders.

Your team got beat by 29 points. And I'm pretty sure you were one of the ones crowing about how Arky scored 31 on Bama's D. I'm not sure you know it, but you are THE one melting. With your moral victory post above.

put up enough yards to do so for sure. Probably would have if the refs had not been too intimidated to call pi on your dbs. Also, your propaganda campaign kept delpit in the game after a pretty egregious helmet to helmet hit on an defenseless receiver, so good for you
