If they want a chance at poaching Dabo after Saban retires.

No they don't.

You throw enough money at someone they'll leave.....I mean Fisher left FSU for God-forsaken aTm.

Plus when Mama calls and says it's time to come back home, you listen to Mama and come back home.

So if kent state threw $20MM/year at saban, he'd leave bama right now?

At some point, dabo will stay for the dynasty he is creating and won't go anywhere else.

Probably. That's a ton of money to turn down.

Bama is going to offer GusBus $10,000,000 to take over for Saban.
He has been contacted by the REC and he our coach in waiting.

Dabo is just a smoke screen.

GusBus or bust.

Actually I would argue the reverse. If he continues beating Saban that just means he is a more attractive candidate when Saban retires.

The SEC is way too hard for Dabo to leave. All the powerhouse teams y'all have beat up on each other week to week, he couldn't handle that

I thought this was going to be about optics of getting 2 in

It is going to be relentless of both SEC teams lose

Why would Dabo leave? Clemson stuck with him after going 6-7 in 2010 when he could have been fired.

Alabama will play two cards with Dabo when the time comes.

1). They will play the "Come home" card

and

2) The "Can you do it somewhere other than Clemson" card.

The question for me becomes, does Dabo's style and the ensuing culture he's built in Clemson play well with Alabama's style and culture.

Sure

The "Can you do it somewhere other than Clemson" card.

Seriously? "Man, you can win titles at Clemson, but can you at Alabama?" Yes, because it's tough winning at Alabama.

Kent State wouldnt.
But I'm waiting for the Cleveland Browns to make that offer.

Kent State, Clemson, Alabama. One of these is not like the others.
