I enjoy Alahunter's threads.

For so much bitching about them, there sure are a lot of bitchers that open the threads and respond.

If you don't respond, they disappear. If you don't like them, don't bump them. Seems logical to me.

So the bama fans can only post abt other schools n vice versa? This isnt a shitty offseason thread, a flaming thread or a sunshine pumping thread. So why bitch?

This one is not that bad of a thread. It's the sheer number of threads Alahunter starts that makes people look at them with a skeptical eye from the beginning. But like I said, point taken, I will stay out of Alahunter's threads unless I have something nice to say.

How does this:
quote:

He also caught one pass – a clutch 26-yard catch and run – for a first down in the national championship victory over LSU.

Equal this:
quote:

The momentum I had last year from the championship game

I'm wondering how making one catch in the National Championship Game makes you a hometown hero. I could understand if he made the game winning catch or won MVP... If you can be a hometown hero based on those credentials, Mario Fannin should've been one after the 2010 NCG for making his clutch, 1 catch for 16 yards.

you dont think Mario Fannin is a hero in his hometown? i dont know where he's from but i imagine people from his community hold him in high rerard.

also, Kenny Bell is not a fumble machine.

I would hope not, and I've never heard of him actually being one...

Meh, I doubt it. Maybe based on his High School performance, but not his performance in the NCG.

Blain Bech still has a yearly parade in his honor in his hometown of Slidell for the strength and courage he showed on a 29 yard pass he completed on a failed fake field goal in the 2003 national championship game

I have family (that are Auburn fans) that live there, so...

Nothing.

He played a pretty big part in the NCG. I can believe that.

Kenny Bell and Mario Fannin caught a combined 2 passes... Big whoop.

Is there a town of Hampton, isn't it just a suburb south of the city by the Atlanta Speedway ?

"But at the end of the day they’re proud of me, too, because I’m a hometown hero.”

I see he has also learned the Alashama Mulligumpneck version of humility.
