This. There isn't an LSU game that day for them to bitch about so the BCSNC game thread is going to suck arse regardless of what happens in the game. Like I said, just don't post in it. There will be very little civil discussion about the game.

Could'nt have said it any better. I'm sure they all feeled pretty bummed, we know that feeling.
Actually LSU came on in the second half came close to pulling it off. Next week it's Our turn to put it all there and I won't feel good if the Flaming starts while the game is on...

I don't post on the scoreboard and it's not my team. Nothin hypocritical about it. Like I said. Most doing this crap will tuck tail and run when the going gets tough and not be around. And in the meantime, ruins the board for alot of others. I've not said anything disrespectful, nor have I done anything to flame anyone. I've simply asked some folks to quit with crappy posts, without naming names. Is it my fault some took exeception to this without me directly mentioning anyone?

If you really think that we are the most hated team in America then you are really dumb. I would be willing to bet that more people hate Texas than Alabama.

Theres a difference. If we'd just lost a big game, our own fans could talk it over and criticize the team and coach. But when somebody else comes in and does the same, it seems as flaming and low blows, even if thats not what it seems. Although on here, thats all it ever is. Let them mull it over on their own, we got our own issues to be concerned with.

And to the assgasket who thinks it isn't good to be hated - I'd much rather "be hated" than pitied.

It wasn't always this bad though. And I don't disagree with what you've said at all. And that's not what I'm talking about. It's one thing to talk the merits of teams in some discussions, but the amount of flames goes overboard sometimes. And like I said, the ones doing it, won't be the ones sticking around and posting. It's like that old addage.. sometimes you gotta give to get.

And I said that flames breed flames. There were times there would be a few here and there.. but with so many happening this season by some of our fans, it's increased them tenfold from other fans too.

Hunter, I thoroughly enjoy most of your posts (especially the "Alabama stuff" ones), but after seeing all of those stupid little Texas longhorn symbols next to LSU "handles", they deserve a little ribbing from our fellow fans. JMHO.

This really isn't true. I'm sure some LSU fans would be asses no matter what, but if some Bama fans wouldn't flame so much, then there wouldn't be so many LSU fans hating. Not many LSU fans like Florida, but we didn't hate on them nearly as much because their fans aren't as bad as Bama's...least I don't think they are.
