Four of five on the offensive line return.

Trent Richardson may be better than Ingram.

9 starters are back on defense, which finished 7th in the country in total defense. 3rd in scoring defense.

We have a great schedule. LSU and Arkansas at home.

LSU arguably can say they return more on O and a pretty deep secondary, PLUS some D-linemen that were injured for part oflast season that were really good. So, I say the only difference in these 2 teams will be the game is played at Bama.

Who is your other good OOC opponent? Besides Penn St?

I was referring to LSU playing Oregon in Dallas, and Alabama playing Penn State at State College. Alabama's other OOC games are a breeze (Kent State, North Texas, and Georgia Southern).

LSU has the tougher schedule. I think LSU goes 10-2 next year.. even if Crowton is here. I think we beat Bama again next year, but lose to someone we shouldn't.

LSU's tougher schedule is why I think Alabama finishes ahead of them.

Last I heard Bamas QB situation was up in the air anyways.. nobody knows who will be starting.

We have the running game and defense to lean on, just like 2008 and 2009.

You are OUT OF YOUR MIND. The season STARTS with a loss to Oregon. Turd and Chavis will bet on this, PLUS lookat what you lose on D.
AND I AM AN LSU HOMER!
If we lose 3 games next season adn finish 10-3 with a bowl win, I will be VERY happy.

we lose three on defense 4 if you count jai eugene.

Secondary is the least of my concerns and to a lesser extent linebackers (chavis is a helluva linebacker coach), nevis will be hard to replace as is shepards leadership.

minter, francios, baker will be good.

Peterson??? I hate that he is gone, but really it's not bothering me.

We have pretty clearly the best defense on paper in the SEC. We should have a good running game. The only hole is at QB (which I admit is a big one but lets be fair LSU has some huge question marks there too) and to some extent WR.

And Alabama had gone 15-3-1 in Baton Rouge since 1969, but that didn't help us last year.

It's a tossup really but i do think Bama's losses are more significant. Our only issue with a guy leaving is Sheppard.I'm not sold on Minter yet.It will come down to who wins on the field just like every year.Bama will be ranked higher because of Saban and the expectations the media has for them. There's no real logic in them being ranked ahead of LSU(we did beat bama and had a better record with the players returning, which should be the criteria)but it doesn't matter.

That would be Milliner, who was a true freshman last year.

It'll be between LSU and 'Bama next season for sure. Miss St. will make a push, but fall short. Auburn will be sucking dick in the back of the bus.

When six of the twelve teams can contend for not only the SEC, but also the NC, and ten of the twelve can win on any given day, is anyone really scared of another team?

The Force is strong with this league. Ain't no one scared. But most smart folks are concerned.
