He came dangerously close to earning the label “3rd and Pruitt” during this season.

Solid, no nonsense coach. 100% focused on winning. That doesn't bode well for college, media, donors, alumni. His PR skills are still in development.

I think he's a great recruiter. And he has contacts or contacts to contacts which should develop a solid staff.

At UGA, he did have some derp moments (Florida whipping us with a backup QB that couldn't throw and 3 plays, and he took the requisite 1 year to figure out Paul Johnson).

IIRC, Rumors were that Jeremy Pruitt was fed up with Brian Schottenheimer‘s lack of offense and coaching and there was a confrontation and some “motivational” threats made. Coaching staff dismissed rumors at the time. I’m not sure what really happened but if JP did light into BS arse then good for him. BS needed his arse kicked.

Moo State would be better off just injecting the program with cancer.

I can tell you he should be a career DC. Hiring him to lead a program wouldn’t be advisable.

He's a top DC. He's a great recruiter. He's also an arrogant hard arse. He could either be the next big thing or blow up as an epic failure. I'm really not sure which way it'll go.

I think you'd be fools not to hire Bill Clark

He needs a couple years under Nick to smooth out a few rough spots.

I wouldn't mind you hiring him, but you probably would in a year or 2.

He's a great DC. I've only heard him speak to the media once. Seemed like a smart enough guy. I don't know how he'd do as a HC. I prefer him over Kirby as a DC. He just didn't have as much to work with this year due to all the injuries and losing so many stars to the NFL.

Not a bama fan, but when he was at GA, he had that defense rolling.

He has a rep for being aggressive on D, but I think some of that this year was to compensate for some of the atypical weakness on the Alabama D line.
