Is that from being overly confident or very uncertain about your big game Saturday? It’s not like Ole Miss fans have been silent, enjoyed their taunting of Bama fans. But seriously, what gives? You’re that confident in a victory or is it that uncertain about your defense?

No point talking about it. We have holes on defense, but we are still pretty good. The game will be what it will be. We'll see Saturday.

So you’d prefer that we behave like those on tRant? All bluster with no bite?

No, I’d prefer to understand what to expect from this game. A lot of the regional sports guys say Lane knows how to attack Bama’s weaknesses. I was somewhat surprised at how much faith they placed in Lane’s offense doing that. But he’s still has to find a way to stop Alabama.

The game is a coin toss. Don’t know anyone confident in a Bama win. I kind of suspect OM takes it.

Not sure what you want from us. The program has been running at such a high level for so long that only the real idiots feel the need to talk a bunch of shite before a game. We’re not Arkansas (and I honestly don’t even mean that as an insult to the Hogs, just trying to draw a comparison).

The overwhelming majority will tell ya
They're worried about the Defense more
Than our offense. They were suppose to
Be our strength. If they allow 48 points by rebs, we likely lose.

Jeesss, can you read? I’m not asking for your tax ID, address or the name of your next child. Just wanted to know what you expect when Bama faces off against Lane and his explosive offense.

Ok, I’ll try being you. Our freshman QB had 3 TD’s and no turnovers at the Swamp in front of a hostile crowd. He doesn’t play like a freshman. Our defense looked bad at times against a good Fla offense, but they stopped Fla enough for us to win . A lot of young very talented guys on our defensive side, hoping they are ready for this Saturday.

By the way, Aub vs LSU is also a big game, expect a thriller with Finley playing. He’s very talented. This will determine who’s still relevant in the SEC West race,

Tide fans have been involved with other fan bases for years over HUGE upcoming games...it's common-place for us. We've also learned that the bullshite that comes out of the fan bases amounts to NOTHING when it comes to winning/losing the games, so we like to just sit back, troll a little and let the other side's fans say things that they nearly always regret saying...then we'll come back in and....remind them of what they said.

Throw out last years game. OM is better on both sides of the ball than last years team.

Bama has the DBs to run with OM WR to allow more in the box to put pressure on the QB

Expect more punts and or failed 4th downs on both sides this year, but still should be an exciting game.

Last year, Alabama ran 43 plays on first down.

On those plays, they were more likely to pick up another first down or score a touchdown (this happened 22 times) than they were to have any play which brought up second down (21 times).

We also need to limit Lane's chances to go for it on 4th. Just like Mullen at Florida a few weeks ago, Lane went for around 4 4th (IIRC) downs last year.

We could not stop Matt Corral. He is amazing and I thought JR Plumlee was awesome the year prior.

It is going to be tough putting pressure on the QB and contain him when he enviably scrambles.

The only game which has concerned me for a while.

Lanes been nut deep in a coed celebrating wins over Amputee State and School for the Blind. He’s also been backdooring for the USC job all week.

Bama defense fixing to eat.

Lane is a great coach and they have a great offense. It's going to be difficult to stop. We were run off the field by it last year and just had a rough outing defensively 2 weeks ago.

We don't really know for sure how much better Ole Miss' defense is, but we do know our offense is still very good but less explosive. We are not equipped to win the same type of game we played last year where we just trade scores for 4 quarters, so we are reliant on our defense to play quite a bit better. They are talented enough to do so, but haven't instilled a ton of confidence in their ability to do it outside of maybe the Ohio State game last year.

I think we find a way to win, but it's going to be one of those games that makes you want to vomit multiple times.

All of Las Vegas seems to be pretty confident and they have a pretty reliable track record. That's not to say an upset isn't possible, but there are plenty of people who are confident in an Alabama victory. Personally...I'm expecting a shoot out and wouldn't be surprised if Alabama falls behind. But that's the fatalist in me who gets nervous for every SEC opponent we play.
