I don't think anyone at LSU blatantly disregards the shite show that was under O and company. It is obvious that the athletic department recognized that, and went in a completely different direction. To say that LSU was to blame for Gilbert's actions (who has still had his share of troubles at Georgia) is a bit of a stretch. Not to mention that Ricks has been mentioned in a negative light twice now (including once by Saban). Is LSU partly to blame for a kid with a shite attitude? Maybe, but lets not act like either one got to new programs and became a team captain

You want a hint on his troubles? Someone sold him a bad bag of weed, and it induced a psychotic break from the laced element.

But go off.

Saban said in SabanTalk that he isn’t ready to be the starter. Needs to learn the defense and beat out the other guys. Also had hints of “needs to buy into tProcess more”

Willie keeps putting up a "infographic" that forgets LSU lost to Alabama, Arkansas and Ole Miss last year (all top 25 teams) without Ricks. I can understand why he wants to forget that 3 game losing streak. And really... are you claiming LSU went 24-4 vs the top 25 in the last 2 years??? That is 28 games. LSU has only played a total of 23 games since 2020... So every game they played was vs the top 25 plus 5 extra games? (and if you want to throw in the Clemson game on Jan 13, 2020, that doesn't really help your case) Sure willie. He is special isn't he.

Curious that players from LSU are always the athletes with personal issues... That is until they go to a program with control over their rosters.

Are you talking about the player left our team, went to your team, then left your team before even playing?

Yeah same thing happened at LSU, (knowing the students that knew him), so why are you going off blaming LSU when the same thing happened at Georgia lmao

You're proving my point? It'll take Alabama some time to fix the issues that LSU let fester with Ricks.

Because heaven forbid it might actually be the player’s responsibility to make good choices and be responsible for his own attitude adjustment. I mean, it can’t be the kid, right? It’s gotta be someone else’s fault.

It’s clear the kid left because Kelly was bringing in a culture of responsibility and he wanted nothing of it. Now he’s at another culture of responsibility and he wants nothing of it. That’s not the culture’s fault, it’s Ricks’s fault.

Saban still trying to work all of that poor LSU work ethic and bad attitude out of the kid. He’ll come around. Just needs more time out of LSU

So he would willingly go to the most responsible culture in all of CFB? It's not some fricking secret that Saban and Alabama are the model of discipline and leaving your ego at the door.

If I'm an undisciplined player trying to remain unchecked, I'm sure as frick not going to Alabama. That's what Miami is for.

Yeah it was a rhetorical question. Having players sit out an entire year because they are passing around laced weed doesn't sound like great roster control.

"Have LSU fans stopped to consider that their shitty discipline and culture were to blame for whatever perceived personal shortcomings these athletes have?"

"Someone sold him a bad bag of weed, and it induced a psychotic break from a laced element"

"Last fall"

Sounds like Georgia might have their own discipline issues, no?

"It'll take a lot to gotcha me."

Not really, you did it to yourself. Essentially you're saying that Georgia has a great culture where players smoke spice and go on psychotic breaks?

Now you’re proving my point. Kid makes bad decisions. He went to Bama because y’all win. He didn’t go because he wanted a culture change. He clearly doesn’t want a culture change. He just wants a ring with zero responsibility and accountability.

But you keep thinking he went to Bama because he was just dying to change himself into a more responsible and accountable person.
