I was a young boy in 1983 so I don't remember it point blank but I did hear the guy yesterday say flat out that it happened. He said he lived in Auburn at the time and saw it firsthand.
As for Derrick Thomas, the news of his untimely death had barely broken and all you would read on ITAT is about all the illegitimate children he fathered. The guy hadn't even been put in the ground yet and it was pretty much a free for all critique of DT's character.
As for the guy talkinga bout peeing on John Mark Stalling's grave, he was called out a time or two on ITAT but it was pretty telling how long it took for him to be called out.

i know that guy said it but he doesnt post on here and is still just ONE guy. id be upset if it was true but i highly doubt it is and i sure as hell dont need to look it up for auburn fans.

I personally think its a travesty. I am ashamed that whoever did it considered themselves a Bama fan.
However, some people dont feel the same. I dont agree with crimsonsaint on this one but he has a valid point to a degree, but once you throw the tradition of rolling toomers corner into the mix I think that point becomes invalidated. But thats just my personal opinion.

I believe if they had been rolled when Bear died. The trees probably would have been destroyed by someone 28 years ago.

Whoever did this was a moron. The tradition is what makes college football. The best thing we couldve done was to beat the barn on the field so they didnt have a reason to roll the tree in the first place. This is pathetic.

I know you're not talking about me because I think what the guy did is horrible. The scary part is that a person capable of doing what he did actually took the time knowing that he was killing something irreplacable and cherished by multitudes of Auburn fans and STILL went through with it. That kind of cold, calculated disregard for others is borderline psychopathic.
