fwiw New Orleans > anywhere in Alabama and I think most of the country would agree

South Alabama has always been Saints territory while the rest tends to go with the falcons.
Truth is, the only time I ever liked an NFL team was when I was a kid. In 1978 I got a Roger Staubach jersey and a Cowboys helmet. I grew out of that and only cheer for their cheerleaders now.
Overall, I like Louisiana. Good food, mostly good people, good music, and anywhere you can buy Jack Daniels at the Walmark is just aight with me. My sister-in-law and her husband lived in Lake Charles for a few years. We usually visited during the summer and went all over the state while we were there.

Well it is the National Football League. And I was a Steelers fan growing up in the 70's and 80's living in Baton Rouge. So sure they can tag along. They don't have much else there. Except a Battle ship, Bama football,Gulf Shores and not much else except Outdoors Hunting and Fishing so let's be glad they like our team. And have adopted them as well. WHO DAT?

I suppose since AU is back to selling out their stadium you can pretend you were selling it out the whole time.

I'm a fan of New Orleans. The city. The Saints? I can't stand how big the bandwagon has gotten. I never got on it.
Don't really care for the NFL or the NBA--but it's fun watching dominant programs, so I'd watch the Bulls when Jordan was there, the Heat finals, the Cowboys and Patriots in their heyday.
I suppose that's got a lot to do with Bama's viewership lately.

Do you live there? No? And if you did, what difference would it make?
NO residents superior to rest of Louisiana, Louisiana superior to rest of the states, 'Merca superior to the world, and Earf just rules the galaxy.
GTFO with this stupidity.

I've been going to Saints games since 1969. I've sat in the rain at Tulane Stadium, through ugly losses and rare wins. I was there when Saints fans were putting paper bags on their heads, but I didn't. I couldn't care less if you don't want me to cheer on the Saints.

In 10 years time, there will be more Bama fans in Louisiana than there will be Saints fans in Alabama.

From someone who did see the Dempsey kick, Mississippi has a helluva claim on the Saints too!

Clearly a troll thread but wanted to add my 2 cents. Most Bama fans (and Auburn) are cool. I try to hate Bama but cant. I do hate Saban. Didnt like his whole schtick at LSU even though he resurrected the program. I did like the winning though. Having lived in Ga after moving from La back in 1987, I can objectively say that La fans are the most insecure bunch I have ever seen. It is embarassing at times. What difference does it make where your from and who you pull for? I have always been a Bills fan and they are about as far away from Louisiana as you can get!

Was thinking about this earlier. My answer, as a Saints fan for over 20 years, born in Louisiana, is that Bama fans are not allowed to be Saints fans and I will never recognize them as such. Go get your own pro team.
j/k...as long as you're not at the Dome spouting Bama nonsense and are there in a 100% Saints fan capacity then IDGAF.
Was about to give you an FU until I was the j/k. Hey, I've been a Saints fan twice as long as have.
