South Carolina's backs are against the wall, they'll be more fired up for this game than any this year, Bama better keep that edge.

Thanks, Dawgs2122. I realize it is wise for a team not to overlook opponents, no matter what type of season they are having.
But, I also realize that on this particular board, a craze of self-doubt has seemingly affected a good majority of Bama posters.
There is no positiviity, only squeamishness and fear about trap, trap, trap as they keep incessantly repeating concerning S. Carolina.
Deboer is no Saban, but he also isn't Shula in the midst of crippling sanctions either. They seem to revel in self-manufactured pity about what may happen. I've never seen anything like it.

Not being the greatest coach of all time doesn't automatically make one a bad coach

In order for it to be a trap, one would have to believe Carolina has a realistic chance to win.
Last time I felt this way about a game @ South Carolina, Stephen Garcia became Tom Brady. There isn't a team on the schedule that won't give Bama their best.

I bet some Bama fans were saying this same sorta stuff....right before you played a really bad Oklahoma team last season.

Good the board has become somewhat stale lately. HRV same old random shite and LSU fans keeping mostly quiet. Needs some life.
Sometimes.
Sometimes not so much.

Everyone knows that Alabama has a problem competing against Mexican quarterbacks. But, that curse has seemingly been lifted with this latest victory over Pavia and Vandy.
And, as far as I know, LaNorris Sellers isn't Mexican.

Not really. Oklahoma is a team that can always trip you up, no matter what situation they may find themselves in. They are like auburn in that regard.
South Carolina, not so much.

Rick Naban- one of the worst bama posters in here, in such a short amount of time.

South Carolina's offensive line is so bad that I don't really see the upset happening.
That said, you haven't faced the best defenses in the conference yet and being one dimensional, someone like Venables with his guys could cause you a lot of problems. Auburn too.
SC might, but I doubt they can score enough to pull it off.

Vandy and Oklahoma were both unranked teams on the road. It’s not false modestly, troll. DeBoer has struggled to motivate his team on the road vs overmatched opponents including this year against FSU. Hopefully he breaks that trend this week

This team is still a wet paper bag until they run the table.

Short frail people feel good hiding behind a few good ball players.
I'm sorry you were always picked last in any athletic compitition.

This response makes no sense. I am urging Bama fans to not be frightened, scared, and overly cautious, like fainting goats, concerning every single team that Bama plays.
From this you state that I am short and hide behind good players?
Below is an example of our conversation.
Me: Have some confidence as Bama fans; don't be shivering and apprehensive mice.
You: Non-ethanol gasoline is much better to use in small engines because it doesn't absorb water from the air causing myriad issues.

A single loss has crushed the spirit and destroyed the expectations of a great majority of Bama fans on this site.
That's weak and seems to just be a phenomenon associated with this site. The fans of other teams here have seeminly conditioned many Bama fans, over the years, to question themselves, their team, and possibly even their self-worth.
It's a virus that has spread its tentacles deep into the fabric of SEC Rant Bama fans. All of you have been negatively affected, whether you realize it or not.
Have some pride!
