I'm Rick, last name Naban. It seems if anyone has the temerity to create a new account and post here, the over 65 crowd immediately assumes it's a trick.
In their foggy haze, never has a new poster joined the board since they did back 30 years ago. If you have an opinion that is not established orthodoxy, immediate suspicion is cast on the "outsider".
It's not like I'm trying to steal their seat at Cracker Barrell that they always sit at and everyone knows it's their chairs.
I'm just asking for some Bama fans to quit being such despondent and gloomy pessimists intent on squelching any signs of optimism.
It's the worst South Carolina in many of our lifetimes, for God's sake.

OP, the Milroe years and FSU azz-kicking will last for a while. I'm good just being happy with improvement and getting Ws. Bama hasn't won anything yet.

They've won the last six games. That's a cause for celebration and excitement, which is what makes being a football fan enjoyable.
The established Bama fans on this site seem to have been brainwashed into undervaluing Bama continually in order to seem "rational" to other fanbases. That's a shame.
To listen to them, one would think we are about to face Michigan next week, who seems to beat Bama every time we blink.

I bet it is. I'm going to pull it back up when Bama beats S. Carolina so bad that their coach is fired on the field with over 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

If I'm wrong, nothing ventured = nothing gained. At least I haven't lived the whole season peeping out of a hole hoping a mallet didn't crush my skull.
