Did we? There may be a minor drop off in recruiting prowess, but certainly not from a pure Xs and Os standpoint.

Getting outrecruited by Clemson and LSU early in 2020 class.
I mean, LSU is ranked #1, but Clemson is #3. Interesting how Clemson can outrecruit a team but still be ranked lower?
Also, it's frickin' May 3rd. Let me know how the rankings finish out after NSD 2.

This.
I’d like to beat Alabama on the score board for the first time in a long time.
But this is a lot like some boxer getting mauled by the champ, but then the champ loses his next fight and that one who got mauled claims he’s responsible for the subsequent loss.
This is a “milestone” that grown men should avoid. It’s not even a stat. And it makes us look petty.
And then the aTm fans will all point to this thread when they defend their first love in Tuscaloosa, saying that we worship 44-16.
Sad.

The schedule stuff is nonsense. I have no problem doing an autopsy to figure out why things decayed down the stretch for us (the stuff Saban has been saying), but stuff like "they prepped for us all year" is laughable.
Not to mention......so what if they did? And if they did, it worked, so you better figure out how to beat that. What Clemson does is outside of our control, so there isn't any reason to discuss it (and, as I've said, the idea that they rested up all year for Alabama is laughable).

Alabama is 1.5 points behind LSU. And actually ahead of Clemson for the 2020 class.

Louisiana St8 is nobody’s Super Bowl, not even Troy’s.
