Bama deserves to be in playoffs

In all seriousness you can’t penalize a conf CCG. You just can’t. By definition just making it meant they earned the right.
If you kicked them out then you just killed conf title games for good. I’m grateful OU didn’t have to play in it as we needed to heal up for our playoff game.
Think of the extra wear and tear and emotions of playing that game. And these teams will have 1 less week of rest and prep so it’s already a penalty to them. And how many injuries or dings did they take?
You can’t now say they have 3 losses and compare them to other 3 loss teams. Those other 3 loss teams didn't have to play an extra game vs a top ranked team.
As glad as I was that GA won - and that helped OU secure a home game - I also don’t want Bama penalized for losing in it.

This is true. But you can compare them to two loss teams and they’d have an additional loss. As well as probably the worst loss of any team that’s close

When you get blown out by 21 points and have negative rushing yards you’re probably going to get penalized.

You have to look at pecking order. SEC is the best and deepest conference in the country. And they had their 2 teams in the conf CCG. Bama beat GA and GA beat Bama. Score is irrelevant. Any 2 teams who play in SEC CCG deserve in playoffs. Spare me about other weak conferences.

WTF are you talking about? I’m pretty sure I’m an OU fan lol. I did fist pumps when Bama lost.
But I also can see the bigger picture. This is about college football tradition being threatened. And the best conference being so deep.
I would personally love to see Bama miss playoffs. OU kept them out last year. But the bigger picture is you would destroy conference title games and therefore more tradition.
Some of you can’t see beyond your hate whats good for the sport. If they got booted you’d see teams maybe tank a game late season to avoid it if still played. Lose the battle to win the war so to speak.
Bama had 1 loss in conference reg season play. And to a ranked OU. That has to mean something. Otherwise the reg season means nothing as well
