Alabama fans are the delusional ones spouting hysterically “this is Saban’s best team ever” when Bama has yet to play a single ranked team to prove it.
Alabama won’t play a worthy ranked team until it plays LSU, only then will fans know more about Bama. That’s just the damn truth!

All that said, no one knows who they've played 3 games into a season. Time will tell. But, hang your hat on preseason rankings if you will.
I'm not sure how good this UA team is based on its level of competition, but I do know they have exceeded expectations to the 3 deep in each game in terms of prep, execution and potential.
