Saban's teams have never been this disciplined and never this lightly penalized even in 2003 the LSU team had more penalties than any team he's had thus far at Bama.
The Nick Saban of 2000-2004 different than the Nick Saban of 2007-present. He's grown and matured as a head coach.
And I don't know why you morons are suddenly shouting "conspiracy" from the mountain tops. Where were the refs helping us several years ago? Where was that help against LSU in 2005? We were the only undefeated SEC team at that point. Where was the help from the refs from 2000-2007?
Face it, you are either a dumb arse or just trying to get a rise out the Alabama fans.

That same head coach was at LSU and had plenty of holding calls when he was there. The difference is where the SEC office is located.
This is the kind of stuff a pussy would say.

I thought there were a couple of holding calls that were declined. I may be wrong, but I thought there were some
there were but whatever. It doesnt matter there were none that influenced the game besides just like another poster said when you get beat it is natural to reach out and hold so I gues the same applies here when you lose I guess the natural thing is to make excuses for why you lost.

Saban had also never had a undefeated season until he got to Bama. What is your point? You act like there is no way something can happen just because it hasn't happened in the past. Saban also didn't have Joe Pendry coaching the offensive line at LSU.

I just wish McCoy hadn't gotten hurt because it would be a different story otherwise
Yeah Colt McCoy was so great.

Yikes. Colt McCoy had 31 yards, 2 INTs on 12 attempts in Saturday scrimmage. Sam Bradford 8-of-10, 96 yards, TD. Both incompletions dropped. about 23 hours ago via Seesmic Retweeted by 8 people Reply Retweet evansilva Evan Silva

And if Bradford hadn't gotten hurt, we wouldn't have been playing Texas. What's your point?
Offense wasn't Oklahoma's problem..Landry Jones was fine at QB.

Loving the confidence of all these Bammers - the all time best QB in Texas' history gets hurt in the first half leaving it to a freshman with little to no experience, and Bama would have won by more?
Hopefully you'll understand what replacing great starters means prior to playing Penn State.

You really think McCoy was better than Young?

quote:There were many articles in the national media last season pointing out all the "blown" calls that happened to help keep 2 teams undefeated. Hell, even the bama homer Finebaum wrote an article saying the SEC had an image problem because some of the calls that bama got in the LSU game and Florida got in the Arkansas game to keep that match-up alive for Atlanta. For all of you to act like it didn't happen only makes you look foolish. The nation saw it happen but it was glossed over and moved to the back burner because the hype the SEC championship game produced. But, if it plays out the same way this year with certain teams seeming to get help to stay undefeated, the media will jump on this story again and link it to all the questionable calls last year.
There was some pretty obvious home cooking to keep the top teams alive last year in the SEC. I'm not so much as saying it is just in favor of bama or UF but the teams at the top of the heap in the SEC

There was only one call that went our way that was really questionable, and that was Pp INT.

...that string of passes without an interception can't be legit. Obviously there must be some kind of protection from the ref in that
I'll give you the string of holding calls and the ingram not fumbling thing, but no way i'm letting that consecutive passes without an interception thing slide
