MSU and ARK and UGA didn't bitch this much.
Oh yes they did. I lurk over at the Dawgrant sometimes when this place gets unbearable. It was in total meltdown for a week after the LSU-UGA game. The Arky fans here were starting the same exact thread with the same 5 pictures and videos from that game 20 times a day for a week.

I guess you weren't there. You had a player leave the game 3 times causing timeouts due to cramps. You had lineman laying down. QBs leaving the game. All this happened with no timeouts left.

"I think the commissioner has handled this very well, and I think Rogers Redding does an
outstanding job in handling the officials in this conference," athletic director Mal Moore said. "It's a very competitive conference, and I think the officials do an outstanding job.
"I feel very strongly that we have a great organization that supports officials and a strong commissioner that leads this conference."
Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban, also an outspoken advocate of SEC officials, agreed.
"I think Mike has done a wonderful job," Saban said. "This league is thriving, not only from an exposure standpoint ... of what the league is all about, what it stands for and what's been accomplished, but also financially and every other way."
This is just too funny. OF COURSE gumps are loving the refs and praising them (when the entire country thinks they suck arse). Hell, it is just like complimenting your fans as being the 12th man to help pull your team through in a tough game.

Havent seen you in a while boss. Do have to say you called it at the beginning of the season 7-8 wins. I have to say I didnt believe you but I see you guys beating Ga for the 8th wind

Busy week at work this week. Been working and hitting the gym and that's about all I've had time for.
Yeah, looks like 7-8 will turn out about right. Guess I'm fairly satisfied - will actually be pretty happy with the season if we get 1 more win at UGA.

You do realize there have been plenty of times over the past decade the referees have made mistakes that have hurt Alabama. We did not throw a fit and our athletic department did not either. The fact of the matter is that the game was won on the field because our team was dominant. That probably hurts some tigah's feelings, but it is reality.

Let the shite go already.
Or just generally begging.
Mal Moore and Nick Saban PRAISING THE REFS for screwing up in Bama's favor?
Is that your idea of "letting it go"?
The thing is what it is.
You, Nick, Mal, and anyone else trying to say it isn't what it is, won't change the facts.
Bama was given a "W".
LSU was given an "L".
The fact the Bama looks a little smaller for it is the unfortunate consequence of both the actions (horrible calls) and the reactions (attempted denials of the bogus officiating) by Bama fans and personnel.
Just the way it is.

The SEC thrives off of being seen as the most powerful conference. They can't go around having undefeateds knocked off when we occupy the top two rankings in the country.
If Bama wins a bowl game and chants S-E-C at the end it will be classic irony.
