What the frick was our plan there? Bad, Bad play Grant.

For our only player who can effectively drive to the basket to get a layup or get fouled, and then foul them again and hope they miss one of the free throws. We don't have any 3 point shooters. Not sure what you want him to draw up there.

Grant has done a great job since league play started, but that T was ridiculous on his part. Terrible, terrible timing.

It wasn't a foul but they called the same shite on us the whole second half, every time Warren drove the ball.

We probably have to win the tournament now.

Good showing in Gainesville, win vs Georgia, win at least one in Atlanta = Alabama is in.

Well, it wasn't a bad loss. If we can still split UF and UGA and win 1 tourney game I think we will get in. It might be a play in game now though.

its win the SEC tourney or NIT.

we had a good run, but judging by the last two games and our inability to bust open a simple 2-3 zone, NIT is what we deserve.

I don't see us winning at Florida so that was a must, just a devastating loss. 12-4 with a win in the tourny might get us in but I kind of doubt it.

Dadburn. Ole Miss is not that bad of a team. Chill out and cheer up. The tourney berth is still in Alabama's hands without winning the Tournament.

I think if we split the games next week and win one in the tourney, we'll make it in the tourney as an 11 seed.

Grant and fouls cost us the game. Good game Ole Miss. Every time we touched Warren it was a foul.

This. But I give Kennedy credit. 50% of basketball is noticing how the refs are calling the game and then adjusting your play to match it. Kennedy saw where the refs were whistling a lot on basket drives and adjusted. He put the ball in his 95% FT shooters hands and told him to drive every play. It worked. Then Grant picks the worst time ever to become an emotional person and game over.

Kansas State basically became a lock after they beat Kansas. You should be more upset about Colorado winning against Texas.

There has got to be studies done on how many close calls the home team gets. No way we could win that game sending them to the line every other possession.

It's how we beat AU last game. Home cooking is just a part of basketball you have to deal with. I just don't like basketball in general. Too unpredictable and ref controlled.

Then why watch and bring your pessimism into this thread?

It's my team so I support them. And I am not being pessimistic at all. I am pointing out that we can't completely blame this loss on refs.

Im so fricking sick. I feel like we didn't have a chance. I hate to play the screwed card, I guess I'm so frustrated right now that that game could cost us the tournament. Just makes me fricking sick to my stomach
