I called 9-3 last year but wasn't sure who we would lose to. This year I am calling 11-1 with that loss being either to Florida or LSU.

IDKAIDC how UA does as long as LSU beats them again and makes the SECCG. With that said, I can see anywhere from 11-1 to 9-3.

Hopefully no drama like the Dareus BS. We had a pretty good year last year considering our Heisman winning RB had a knee injury, we lacked intense leadership outside of GMAC and our secondary was razor thin and not helping the matter was Menzie missing the spring with what should have sat him out the season or most of it.

At worse 10 wins, at best national title. In terms of raw talent, we have more than anyone in the nation, almost comparable to the USC teams under Carroll.

The D will be ridiculously good, and there is no logical explanation to say how it could not be. 9 starters return from the top D in the SEC. There is no weak area in the whole unit.

The offense is a wild card. Raw talent everywhere, but it will all depend on the QB play and that is a total unknown. 4 returning starters on the o-line will alleviate some of the growing pains and combined with our excellent backs should form a very strong run game.

Last year was our rebuilding year. 9 wins is a very bold statement. Our hardest 2 games (Arky and LSU) are at home as well.

If you look at the schedule, Bama should be favored in every game. However, there are enough losses on offense to cause some concern. 10-2 sound about right. Team Chemistry will be a key and who is selected as the starting QB may be part of that team Chemistry.

This thread is epic fail. We cannot worry about the end result when we, as fans, need to be focused on the process. Hopefully saban can find the magic elixir that makes u get up for every game. But since he probably won't, we will have to win our 9 or 10 and hope we get some lucky breaks in the other close games

+1....Saban isn't going anywhere and everything will depend on mccaron, he pulls a sam bradford his freshman year and manages the game effectively they could easily run the table pulls a brantley and they'll be on their way to a 9-10 season.

0-12, death penalty, Saban will announce he is gay and will join the cast of Glee.

Exactly. There is really no way to predict Bama's season without knowing how the QB will play. Saban's conservative system and 4 returning linemen + Richardson should balance average QB play though.

for the record, my predictions were solely based in a reality where QB play is at least as good as Gmac's.

considering growing pains, I could potentially concede a L.

Anywhere from 10-2 to 12-0 regular season.

I think probably 11-1, as a happy medium, but wouldn't be surprised with 10 wins regular season. I think the D will be improved and the secondary will not cost us some games at critical moments like it did last year against Lsu, SC and Au. I believe the O-line will be improved and our running game will do much better than last year, barring injuries, like last year. Longer time of possession, a more suffocating defense and 20 seniors on this team makes me think Bama could make a legit run at a title again.

I certainly can't argue that we're tier 3. We sucked bad last year and will stay tier 3 until we play ourselves out of it. However, why is florida tier 2? They have a brand spanking new coaching staff, including a HC in his first year ever in the role, major QB concerns, and they didn't do very well last year.

Because they are Florida. They have a shite ton of talent that automatically qualifies them for tier 2.
