Bama will get left out for the same reason the Aggies did in 2020.
Because they have to let Miami in to justify having ND in. Miami’s win against ND is better than your conference championship performance. That will be their justification.
But it’s all about ND. It always is.

I’m still confused why people think Freeman is a great coach

I also don’t think ND wants to play at Kyle. So we may see Aggies at six to avoid that. Not because of any other reason than ND doesnt want to play us at Kyle.

This and the committee will try to avoid a possible UGA and Bama rematch in the natty because they don’t need that game to be a 3rd time replay.

I don’t think Freeman is a great in-game coach, but he is a much better recruiter than Kelly in both the HS ranks and the portal. Kelly is a better CEO. If Kelly was coaching last year’s team, they don’t make it to the Natty because a lot of the younger players and portal players who stepped up never would’ve committed to Kelly. However, Kelly would have never lost to NIU.

I predict they do not move Bama or BYU. Their flavor of the month justification will be teams should not be penalized for conference championships.

Didn’t they do that last season in that horrible August Aggies love to tell us about? You beat them on a missed xp. I wouldn’t want any part of a rematch.

You know it. They had Marcus Freeman this week talking about how because of BYU’s ranking between them and Miami, Notre Dame and Miami were not being compared to each.
