The problem with this is that you can't tell a kid where to go to school! The main objective is to get an education and while we all know that is BS, kids will forever be able to go to the school of their choice as long as there is room.

70 scholly cap and 5 years of eligibility, no more redshirt nonsense.

70 scholly is 3 deep at every position plus 4 specialists.

5 years of eligibility keeps more 5th year seniors around and lowers the average signing class numbers.

Although the top schools will still hoard the 5 stars, many of the 4 and 3 star diamonds in the rough will distribute out to other programs.

It won't completely close the gap, nor should the gap be completely closed, but it will increase parity.

To make up for lost schollies, give shite schools a 100 scholly limit. Div 1AA etc. Whatever it takes to make up the difference so student athletes don't get the shaft on free ed, in general.

Patriots went to the AFC title game 8 straight times and went to 5 Super Bowls. Lebron has been in the NBA Finals 9 out of the last 10 seasons. Bama has played in 8 of the last 12 national title games.

I figured a Ga fan would like it. That program has no excuse. You have the same level talent as Bama, LSU, Clem, and OSU. Just hire a coach to match. All you want to do is take the easy way out.

This as well. Georgia has had 3 teams good enough to win it all just in the last 10 years.

OP you sound like a baby... Over the last few years UGA has had as much if not MORE, 5 star talent than ANYONE... Yet BAMA, LSU, and a few others have beaten you like dogs(pun intended)... Bama has been dominant primarily due to superb coaching, recruiting, and most importantly DEVELOPMENT OF THAT TALENT....

Stop whining like a 10 yo girl otherwise go put on an apron and start going by the name "bitch"..

did not work because the big schools got around that rule by building huge football only centers.

They weren't living in those "centers" and most are training centers for all athletes.

Some schools do get around the athletic dorm rules by filling half with regular students. Auburns South Donahue hall
