Great football player but piss poor performance on the sportsmanship side.

He’s just another Johnny Football

Didn’t think he really did much wrong. You can bet our players weren’t handing out compliments either.

Ah well. We will always have the video footage of him getting busted by the Fayetteville PD to remember him fondly by.

Dude he slashed his throat and said it’s over when we missed the FG in the first half. The kid is both an elite talent and a power tool.

If I were a gump I'd be jumping for joy my team doesn't have to play ok.

Alabama couldn't keep up with them on offense the way uga did.

Once again, the chips fall in favor of The gumps

Must be nice to play in a championship game.

Why? Wouldn’t be scared at all.

He could have congratulated UGA and said “Good game”

It’s amazing that this was his 6th year of eligibility

Not sure it will translate as well to the pros as everyone else thinks.

As soon as UGA got at him, he crumpled. He was unable to divert from script, and the mediocre second half is an indicator of that. If UGA had led with the type of defense they ran in the second half, that game would have been a blow out.

Bellamy hit him with a “humble yourself” after the game

He did not look like a Heisman winner in the second half at all.

Bc I know and you know Ou posed a much bigger threat to Alabama on offense than Uga does.

Jake Fromm is a younger Danny Etling.

Alabama will load up on run just like they did vs LSU past 7 times and make fromm beat them which he can't do.
We all know this is how it'll go.

Johnny was a lot of things, but how did Johnny show poor sportsmanship? He seemed to be respectful to his opponents most of the time.

There's a bright line between being a confident competitor, and being a douchebag.

Apparently, he was getting in the UGA WR's way as they were doing their pre-game warm-ups.

That kind of shite isn't "being a gamer." It's just being an a-hole.

As I was telling a friend, I originally wanted Mayfield to get his arse kicked from the get-go. But I loved how it actually played out. With Mayfield getting cocky and then getting the rug pulled out from under him. Seeing his speechless expression when UGA won was priceless.

I was being over-gratuitous with “elite talent” trying to offset calling a young man a tool. In hindsight I should’ve just said what I was trying to convey: he’s a tool. Displays some real character flaws that he needs to work on IMO.

I was delighted to see that punk crying at the presser after the game. That silly-arse, arm swinging little run coming off the field is pathetically childish.
