... Oh, nothing will come of this

I don't think it'll be bad as Ole Miss but hard to fight the blatant paying of a player. Some Reggie Bush type shite. He lost a Heisman and Usc vacated a year. I think we May have to vacate a mediocre season. Now had Yeldon not scored on us at the end of the game. I'd be really pissed.

LSU fans need to remember this “evidence” doesn’t have to meet the standard of legally admissible. It can be circumstantial as hell. It all depends on what the NCAA investigation believes happened and how much of that they can substantiate. As long as they can connect the dots in a reasonably supportable fashion, you’re fricked if that’s their aim.

Not sure if this happened while Vidal was at LSU or after. The other family reported so far was that of Rohan Davey, well after his playing days were over.

What has not been reported in the case involving Vadal Alexander's father is *WHEN* the payments were made. Vadal played at LSU 2012-2015.

you're ruining it for them

A key distinction, however, is that Davey was not a student-athlete at the time of Funes’ payments to his family members, who later returned more than half of it to Funes at his request. Alexander was a player for the Tigers during the period when his father received the payments, exposing LSU to potential NCAA rules violations.

It doesn’t matter if LSU payed them 10 years ago.... he basically made it a public record that dates the day of court. The basketball stuff is just getting started for LSU. Wade said he didn’t do it. So now the ncaa has to ask the people involved or again use court records. Not out of the woods by any means, It actually makes it worse now that both programs are cheating football and basketball. They will dig deep on this one.

Agreed. LSU is so desperate for relevance again, they’ll continue to cheat as much as possible and the NCAA knows it. It would take up way too much of their time, and no one wants to live in Baton Rouge.

So if LSU is desperate for relevance, then I assume that the aggots have completely given up? Because 1939 was a long arse time ago.

His entire statement is incorrect and ignorant.

aggy plays in College Station.
Often referred to the a-hole of Texas.
Pretty much Leesville.

Baton Rouge is superior to Collie Station in every way.
There are actually things to do in BR.

Plus aggy was probably the biggest group of cheaters between 1979-1995.
They had Jackie Sherrill as their HC. Sherrill ended up in trouble with the NCAA everywhere he went and didn't care.

Then Funes was ready and waiting to pay immediately and went with a lineman. He became CEO sometime in 2012 and Vadal Alexander graduated early and enrolled in early 2012.

I can't find a timeline for when Funes became CEO and apparently got access to the ability to embezzle/misdirect funds.

Vadal Alexander Timeline - 247 Sports
quote:

October 10, 2011: Commitment
Vadal Alexander commitment to LSU

January 17, 2012: Enrollment
Vadal Alexander enrollment at LSU

Between Alexander and Rohan Davey's family, that's $287,000 out of the more than $550,000 that he embezzled. ($107,000 to the Davey's mother and sister and then $180,000 to Vadal Alexander's father).

Also, we know that Rohan Davey's family was basically funneling part of the money back to Funes ($63,000 out of the $107,000). It is not out of the question that James Alexander was doing something similar.

At this point, it's unclear exactly what liability LSU has in regards to the NCAA. LSU immediately informed the NCAA when they were notified of the audit/investigation results at OLOL.

quote:

In a statement, LSU Senior Associate Athletic Director Robert Munson says only that, “LSU was made aware of specific allegations by OLOL officials in late 2018 and made that information immediately available to the NCAA. As this is an ongoing inquiry, LSU will have no further comment.”

They’re perpetually the little brothers. They will never be anything except dick riders of others.

I have been to college station many times (for work), and it is boring as hell. The only thing remotely cool about college station is it’s proximity to blue bell ice cream. If you go there, be prepared to see grown arse men and women wearing a ring. Oh, and prepare to see cars with dumb phrases like Whoop!!!!.

aggy is the type to cheat but not even get the players

Eric Dickerson and the Trans Am
Hart Lee Dykes
Harvey Williams

There not even good at cheating.
They throw money but they players still tell them no.

Texas A&M
Speaking of the Southwest Conference, a close runner-up for mid-1980s corruption in the storm-tossed league would seem to be Texas A&M. Amid positive developments under Jackie Sherrill, such as Cotton Bowls and the institution of the 12th Man tradition, the Aggies ran a loose ship and were ultimately deemed to be guilty of such shenanigans as improper employment, extra benefits, unethical conduct and lack of institutional control. Sherrill was not personally implicated in the infractions, but he did resign in 1988, the same year his program went on probation.

Dont see LSU on the list
