Really? Auburn fans hate him and ridicule more than anyone else on this board, bro.

I wouldn't say automatic, but it made the chances very good. A bad, toxic coach could totally blow things up in that situation. Those things have happened before.
I guess the point from Johnson's run in Dallas is that he was a pretty solid caretaker and he didn't screw it up (though they did have a few playoff disappointments, but also an unexpected run). Anyone arguing he is the REASON they won all those games is dumb, but to argue that somehow having good players means all those wins and the playoff run is meaningless is equally stupid.
Honestly, you could argue that in Dallas most average NBA coaches would win 50-60 games, and in New Jersey/Brooklyn most average NBA coaches would have been terrible just like he was. He had a really good roster in Dallas, he won a ton of games. He had a really bad roster in New Jersey, he lost a lot of games.

That there's seemingly been 500 pages on Alabama basketball here the past couple of weeks must mean they're doing something right.

Yeah, he sucks. I'm not sure why anyone bothers responding to him anymore. He just repeats the same stupid shite over and over and over.

Dirk himself said AJ made him a better player and took him to a higher level. I'm sure that was just BS though.

Great day for Alabama basketball. I understand that it's damn near impossible to sell a hire to opposing fans, but I think every other fan base should see why we are as excited as we are. Two tournament appearances in ten years following a three year stretch where we were ranked number one nationally, SEC regular season champs, and a program first elite eight appearance. We're starved for success and we have a proven coach, regardless of the lack of college coaching experience.
No other coach outside of Marshall could have generated this type of excitement. Considering how low last week felt, this is a damn good day.

I do not have a problem with him, I liked to watch his commentary on TV. My point is that NBA Coaches are not judged by there X's and O's as much as how they manage the Superstars of the league. How much coaching did it take for the Miami Heat to be successful the last few years. We see what is happening now with that team.

Drew Brees also gave credit to Cam Cameron.

Suns made it to the Western Conference finals, not their fault they faced team with superior coaching (Mavs).

Who doesn't make the playoff in the NBA ? To get that last spot in the playoff is equivalent to winning the NFC South last year.

You manage to find a way to move the goalposts in every post. It is fascinating.

Where did it move ? Talking about accomplishments in the NBA, and I stated that it is a players league. The coaches manage the players for the most part. That is why Coaches with poor records get retreaded after being fired. I'm sure AJ thought that was a possibility this year. I know its hard for some of you to keep up with one train of thought, but its not moving the goalpost.
