It was disheartening to see someone with his talent backing up system QBs. I'm glad he was able to land somewhere that he'd be appreciated and be able to make an immediate impact.

He's not lighting up the stat sheet but there's a lot to like. It's important to remember he barely played at OSU, so he's only got 7 starts under his belt. He's got room to improve. Getting the ball out quicker, anticipating blind side pressure.

It kind of reminds me of Mett's first season as starter at LSU. You could see all the talent but the over all stat line didn't jump out at you. But then in year 2 he took a big step forward. I really think Joe will have a big year next year after being a competent game manager this year.

I’ve been saying for a while that his stats don’t show how good he really is. He a great game manager, and he’s smart with the ball. It’s not his fault that our receivers like to DROP EVERY frickING PASS.
