Passing:

15/30 200 Yds 50.0% 0 Td 0 Int.

Rushing:

13 carries for 66 yds 59 long 2 TD

He got the long run in garbage time but he is fast running in a straight line.

On the stats he is an average Joe. No one can deny that.

BUT ... the dude is one of the best football players I've seen in a while. Dude knows the game and does the right thing for the situation. All QBs are game managers to some degree. Truth be told, Burrow is Saban's dream QB.

Why are you doing so much research on a guy and a team you are so superior to? Move along Gump. Nothing to see here. Your the greatest ever. Now get back in that trailer and slap the ol lady around because you did not score 60 yesterday.

Dual Threat Joey doesn't care about stats

He protects the ball and takes what he can.

LSU doesn’t go 5 wide much so his options to pass are fewer with tighter windows.

His low INT are what really impress me. If he tosses interceptions they will have a hard time winning.

Joe is cool as a cucumber. Tough as nails. He gives zero fricks. I was fired up after his long run.

No.

Too much swagger and independence.

However, Tua got hurt sliding yesterday and Burrow refuses to slide so there is that.

It's odd: As a passer, Danny Etling was not only better statistically but a lot better. Still, I doubt there is even a single LSU fan who would rather Etling over Burrow.

Doesn't have as much as McCarron did. Saban came to love him some AJ.

I like how he gets up and talks shite back to the defense after not sliding.

LSU is a dayum good football team and their QB is a huge part of that. #13 for UGA is a really good RB. Honk if #13 ran over you on Saturday.....add #22 for LSU in that honk as well.

Excellent point.

And AJ bounced back quite well in NOLA.

Here's hoping LSU handles business against State and then Burrow and Tua give us a show to remember in early November.

The whole world will be pulling for LSU to prove Bama can bleed.
