Both cities are in beautiful areas, have historically had lively music scenes and are home to many tech companies. However, both also have massive amounts of homeless people that have no desire to work, are liberal hot beds, have liberal colleges and attract a lot of people that don't understand basic plumbing.

I heard someone say today that having Texas in your conference is like marrying a stripper. It may look good on the outside, but there is a lot of baggage that goes along with it.

I was totally with you up until this. I am not sure marrying a stripper actually ever looks good?

Georgia Tech is in a liberal city in a blue state.

University of Texas is in dumb conservative Texas.

All real colleges are “liberal” to you conspiracy jerking morons.

I don’t think you are smart enough to have graduated from Georgia Tech.

Those are the upscale homeless encampments in Austin

Some of them are just massive garbage heaps overrun with rodents.

The last time I had a business trip in Austin, my hotel was downtown. I was amazed at the number of tents and people sleeping on the streets. Underneath the interstates people had furniture set up consisting of beds, couches, etc. The sad thing is that most of the homeless were all in their 20's. You would walk past 20 year old girls asleep on the side walks in front of restaurants and stores displaying "help wanted" signs.

Austin has its problems and I am not a city person but it’s a damn utopia compared to the trash heap that is Atlanta.

I haven't been to Atlanta in about 20 years, so can't confirm or deny.

So, Mr. Muh Russian Collusion, are you implying colleges aren't liberal?

Lmao. So suddenly you love and support the state of Georgia because "muh smart people" who couldn't afford to live in blue states like Cali, NY, MA, etc. migrated there and are transforming it into a wallet crippling hellscape like the states they fled?

Tbf you're actively losing money if you're working a job in Austin that you can get from a help wanted sign. Rent is absurd these days.

What does that have to do anything? You dumb fricks are so brain dead you can’t stay on a basic topic without going off the rails.
