I'll just leave this here, Jay Prosch, our FB who is 6' 260 lbs with a 40 time of 4.72 ran faster than Jarvis Landry

This should tell you how ridiculous these hand time 40's are, not that Prosch is faster than Landry. It now makes sense why Dee suddenly became "hurt" at the combine. He needed to wait for Auburn Pro Day where the 40 times are made up and the score doesn't matter.

I'll settle for a tie. Everyone laughed at the slight chance of Dee Ford being faster. The guy can move.
Clowney's pro-day time will be faster than 4.53 and all you Auburn fans will say "well yeah, it's USC's Pro day, the #s are skewed."

My question is this: who is in charge of the measurements during pro days?

Everyone on twitter is saying 4.53. Clowney had two runs as well so he obviously ran one slower than 4.53 just like Ford did so not sure wha tyour point is

My point is the article I read said he ran a 4.59 and a 4.54, where OP says he ran a 4.53. How are you not sure about the point?

this article

What the hell??? They need to slow these guys down. We have now made our athletes the same as horses, run as fast as they can until you have to put them down. All for our amusement.

Speed walk 40's should be implemented.

Oh wait...

I'm going to go by what both Auburn and every other reporter has written not just some CBS article. Very well may be 4.54 but no one except that guy is reporting it

Also, 4.54 isn't getting blown out of the water by Clowney like everyone said in this thread

Khalil Mack ran a 4.65 at the combine and a 4.53 and 4.55 at his pro day.

interesting.

Plus Dee performed better in other areas.

Clowney is a beast, but I think it is very fair to say Ford backed up the talk, especially considering he actually produced this year while Clowney loafed around.
