Holtz, Hatfield, Crowe, Kines, Ford, Nutt, Petrino, Smith, Bielema. Quite a list of winners you got there sport!
Jordan, Barfield, Dye, Bowden, Tubbs, Malzahn.
Really to be fair, Jordan goes back to the early 50's. You could just add on Bowden Wyatt, Jack Mitchell, and Frank Broyles.
Damn Hogs, that is a lot of coaches. You guys #1 job should be to cut out all that meddling. Leave Pittman alone and just get the man some of that old cold beer. And, mind your own business.

No one is even thinking about replacing our current coach. You guys on the other hand ... well ...

Auburn has a pretty good athletic program and it's a shame to see what they've been going through over the last few years.
I don't understand why they have so many people meddling in the affairs of their football program. They've been consistently noted for this sort of thing for some time now.
The only people who are going to want to come there are young, nominally talented coaches from the minor conferences who are willing to be micro-managed.
blah, blah, blah
Thanks for your concern.

Holtz, Hatfield and Petrino were good.
Nutt was average.
Ford was below average.
Morris, Bert and Crowe were bad.
Kines and Smith were interim coaches.

BAMMERs, remember no one knows better than Auburn fans who you are and have always been - the biggest cheaters in the history of amateur sports
Coming from the only team who's head coach was recorded cheating by his own player and then named their field after the cheater. Also named the Stadium after the head coach who was immediately put on probation after winning half a natty in 1957. People who live in glass barns shouldn't throw stones.

How much did y'all pay for Albert Means? I forgot. Was it $300k. How'd that work out for you?
Wasn't it Gene Jelks who kept the canceled check that got y'all on probation, that other time? Didn't Hootie have to go to compliance seminars for three years after that one?
BTW. Dye said nothing on the recording that got him in trouble. He told the POS he couldn't help him and if he had issues, he was supposed to talk to his position coach. Facts are elusive things, especially for mullet heads.

Until someone else’s meddlers hire Chad fricking Morris I don’t think we should really be giving pointers to other people.

Auburn wasn't willing to take this step. The rest is history.
Auburn also has an extremely strict in house compliance director who also is a reason coaches don't get the "complete control" guarantee. He very well may wind up our permanent athletic director.

The Arkansas administration is a cluster of dog shite.
Who hires the head coach first and then the AD?

Someone who fires the AD because they won’t fire the coach for them?

AU fired the AD becsuse every coach in the department filed a complaint against him. He did everything like AU was on a shoestring budget. He was just following directions, but coaches resented him. Fans hated him for Harsin.

Surely it was more than just not wanting to fire Bert.

shite on Greene for running the AD like it was Buffalo. He cut costs in transportation and facilities to have a better bottom line, yet he goes out and hires a coach that nobody wanted and gives him $5M and a large buyout. What program in the country would accept that behavior? Auburn didn't and will not. Jay Jacobs did not leave him anything on his plate that any AD sees on a daily basis. Lawsuits are a way of life in today's world and the only legit investigation was the Chuck Person investigation. Something that could happen at any school and did at some in the SEC. Greene looked and talked polished compared to JJ, but he was not ready for a job of its level. Maybe in time.

Since Pat Dye, every Auburn coach has been subjected to behind the scenes shenanigans or outright coup attempts.

In addition to be a Hogs fan, I am also a college football and SEC fan. Imagine that.

Harsin will root out the meddling boosters, the Auburn athletic department just needs to stand behind him 100%. Harsin just needs more time to get his guys in and fully implement his program.
