What? In the major sports last year Arkansas was only successful in baseball.
Yet finished in attendance:
Football -- 23 (back to back 2-win seasons)
Basketball -- 10 (no ncaa tournament)
baseball -- 3

Almost nobody goes into BWA and wins. Look it up. No really, look it up. It’s louder than a Walmart self checkout.

I wish BWA had more legroom and larger seats. Maybe we'll get that in the renovation coming up.

When your arena only sees 3 losses in three years you let me know.
Arkansas wins 81% of its games in Bud Walton Arena and has had multiple years of 0 or 1 loss home seasons.
Your uneducated college basketball knowledge looms large in your above post.

No, although I am a big German bastard. And the seats closest to the floor are smaller.

Hey, show me some pics of players holding their ears because it's so loud.
I can wait.
I can supply one from this year if you like to compare.

The Carolina Coliseum used to be that way. It was an amazing atmosphere that saw some of the best of our history.
Then we built a concert arena that makes the city and school a lot of money, but hurts the mens basketball atmosphere.

I mean nearly every source I can find has Arkansas as a top 3 toughest venue in the SEC.
2nd Best
3rd Best
2nd Best in SEC, 3rd best in college basketball
2nd Best
Tied for 2nd
Not bad for the Basketball Palace of Mid-America.

So is Auburn's cute little, smallest capacity arena in the SEC. I remember Ole Miss fans being super-duper excited about basketball for a couple of seasons and their new arena being "the best in the SEC" in their opinion.
It's cute.

BWA blows away every venue outside of Rupp and TBA. I will say Auburn has the best student section setup I’ve seen in the SEC and I’m sure Pearl had a lot to do with that. I’m jealous Arkansas probably won’t make that sacrifice to season tickets

Only late-comers and schools with no basketball tradition can afford to make that transition these days. You can only give away your best seats to the students if nobody else really cares about your program.
Duke, being the exception, has done it for decades, and they locked that in as part of their arena culture way back. If they hadn't, they couldn't do it now. They'd lose too much money.
