I know! Let's have another list then showing who's wealthier. That's your specialty, right?

You do the research. I get an Engineering Magazine every month detailing the successful alums. Trust me I know who they are and it isn't a secret.

We're one of those programs who is likely to find themselves priced into a record every year. We aren't the only one and we're likely in the majority of college teams with this problem.

NIL is going to suck what little life is left right out of college football.

Do some research on your own and get back to us. It is not hard. Like most of the Bammers on here, you wouldn't trust a poster or even a link.

You are right but a lot of fans are too stupid to get it.

CW is the typical bammer. The list was from the day after Gus was fired and Harsin was interviewed solely by Greene and hired by Greene. CW is the typical Bammer, he doesn't understand logic or the truth.

Most fans are not willing to pay big bucks for NIL. And some schools are whistling through the graveyard thinking their fanbase can keep up with the big dollar schools (A&m,Texas, UF and USCw)

Auburn is so fricked for the foreseeable future. Stuck paying Malzhan’s buyout and having Harsin around

You have a point here. I mean, Saban is worried about Bama's ability to compete in the NIL world and Auburn (located in the same state) is way behind the gumps in NIL.

Just a lot of the backstory of alums who made it big in the Tech field. Most you would even know where they graduated from but I guess that doesn't apply to Bama alums at the loan department of your local bank.

When you ask that much of boosters, don't be surprised when you find yourself deeply back in their pockets.

Players will be making more than some onfield coaches and have the ear of influential donors. It is becoming all the more like the NFL with the coach and player dynamic (among the elite players). Next logical step is the booster funded NIL trusts becoming a board equating to a de facto GM.

What could go wrong?

Not because of money, because the PTB are not willing to pay it out until AU rights the ship. Step one has already started with the new President. He was the Dean of the School of Engineering, and he knows where the money is located.

Sounds like a real great family you got down there.

Glad you have acknowledged that. A great family is one that teaches that life’s successes are earned through hard work, not by receiving handouts for “potential” before having yet succeeded.

So, you’re saying that Auburn about to become a USCe caliber program?

But I was told by our expert insider IronHeadPuppets that they are positioned far better than Bama for NIL.

Are you saying he was wrr...wrrr..wrong?

No CurlyPubs3, I said AU is in better position for NIL money based on the potential worth of Tech alums vs Lawyer alums. Bama will pay the immediate dollars to appease Saban short term but will not be able to keep up with the big dogs. I am not including AU as a big dog, but they have more potential money in the future.

Do you think college football will survive if only a few “big dogs” buy most of the best players every year?
