Auburn's AD just posted a video begging the fans for money to buy players.

Hopefully there's not too many Auburn suckers out there willing to pay for a 7-5 football team each year. Because you're getting screwed in the arse. Then your best player can decide to dip after 1 year.

College sports are over and not worth it to the middle class that's already hit with high inflation.

Auburn is so fricked for the foreseeable future. Stuck paying Malzhan’s buyout and having Harsin around

Maybe if Harsins daughter could get involved she might have more luck.

Friend of mine played baseball at Auburn. When he went to the baseball alumni weekend, he said they hit them up hard for cash.

But I was told by our expert insider IronHeadPuppets that they are positioned far better than Bama for NIL.

Are you saying he was wrr...wrrr..wrong?

Let me translate for you people: AU alumni aren’t going to pay for the PTB’s continual mistakes. They created this issue, they can pay for cleaning it up. We also aren’t going to pay one of the highest season ticket fees for a garbage product on the field and to be nickeled and dimed at every single turn on campus. Coaching changes, Ect ect can be paid for by those that let Gus stick around too long and those ran the propaganda train that neutered Harsin and recruiting.

Not gonna be long until fans are blamed for a teams failures due to NIL. Teams will never be satisfied with how much money they get and coaches will start using it as a scapegoat to why they failed.

Translation: “ Can you middle class people all chip in to pay the salaries of these 18 yr old kids so that they can make more money than you, even though they haven’t proven anything yet. “

Sounds like a real great family you got down there. I, for one, believe in the barn and love it.

Coaching buyouts are suddenly cheap compared to NIL requirements.

AU has more money than anyone is willing to admit. The real PTBs money is through tech instead of business. The problem that AU has faced over the years has been the PTBs do not think AU has had a plan and they refuse to contribute to the dysfunction. That is changing and it starts with their new President and his relationship with the Athletic Department.

I actually get Auburn fans anger. I mean Harsin was a stupid hire then they try to run him off well after there were any candidates to hire.

Auburn fans saying should win the first 5 games this fall. That might be pushing it right there!

You think Tim Cook is the richest alum from the tech selector. I do not even think he is in the top 5. AU has a lot of money from the School of Engineering and there are many who started their own companies over the years. The tech field has a great future and trumps anything a lawyer or doctor can produce. AU is in good position for the future. That is why Bama has tried so hard to increase enrollment any way they can.

Oh yeah?

I know! Let's have another list then showing who's wealthier. That's your specialty, right?

Harsin was not going to be fired and money wasn't going to prevent it. AU had to investigate the allegations that people in the AD made against Harsin. If they were true, he would have been gone without any payout. The people who supported Steele tried to make it public and it backfired. No money was not an issue.
