Auburn’s 2010 Natty year was a more interesting story than Swamp Kings

Think about it.

King Jimmie rustler Cam Newton, scorned by that very Gators team, gets banished to no-man’s-land Texas to redeem and rise from the ashes and lead the unranked afterthought Auburn Tigers and becomes the greatest player in college football. The drama with his dad and the church and Mississippi State and recruitment. The NCAA investigation. The super human plays against South Carolina, and Clemson and Kentucky. Single handedly taking over the LSU game, the drama of would he play vs Georgia. The comeback from 24-0 IN Tuscaloosa. The Michael Dyer play that was an inch away from being down that ended up saving the game. The kick to win it all.

Much better story.

Why are southern school boosters do fat, yet so happy.

When I hit 40, I was in a 12-14 hr a day job with regular weekend work.

I recall putting my boots on and feeling my belly press against my belt. Hardcore caloric deprivation and a smile follwed

The Florida story is much more interesting, the documentary just left out the most interesting portion.

I’m in the second episode of swamp kings and about to quit watching. It’s nauseating how little “untold” there is. Does it get any better, or is it just a Meyer suck fest?

one thing watching the swamp kings reminded me of, i much prefer the SEC pre ags and mizzou. when aub, lsu, fla, bama, tenn were all good, there were some epic games. aub\uf games were always entertaining to watch from someone with no dog in that fight. some great games.

Auburn's 2010 year would make an interesting episode in a series about cheating in college sports if the episode focuses on Cam Newton more than Auburn.

That's about it, though.

The next story should be the 2007 season. Just the entire thing. #2 losing almost every week, Stanford beating USC, WVU-Pitt, Missouri, Kansas only having 1 loss! Hawaii making the sugar
