I don't understand where this "all the talent in the world" comes from.. He made 2 or 3 great catches last year. The rest of the time he struggled to shed coverage, didn't block, didn't finish routes.. The rest of the time, he was pretty much wide open from drawn coverage. At most, he was a solid 3rd/4th round possession receiver, which is probably what he was told, hence he came back.

Has there been any official reason given? Kicking someone out of the program for "not meeting expectations" seems kind of hypocritical for Gus.
